how do you sharpen these scissors?

The blades are small. I have never even thought about sharpening them. They do work very well. You could try cutting a few times through foil. I just buy another pair.

Can anyone tell me if the blade is thin? I need them for hardanger embroidery

The blade is very thin but I find them very hard to cut with, barely use them now

Are they autoclavable?

They are all stainless, I would imagine they could stand up under pressure and steam, but mine are for another purpose. they are made well and very sharp.
