Because a little appears to have no effect. (initially, read onward)Spraying on until dripping saturation is the current testIt goes on sticky. It remains sticky on my arm for about an hour. It dries to an aggressive tack.After about 90 minutes most floral scent has evaporated. The smell is overly complex resisting component identification. Be annoyed by morally irresponsible “cruelty" free labeling as "cruelty" free shifts ALL the risk back to the consumer. I would like to know if there is a risk of melting my retinas. It is not rational to expect non-human animals to be treated humanely any more than it would be rational to do so.3 stars ---> 5 starsBecause repeat application is required to gain the hint of skin hue shift. What I like might be what you don't like :)I like what a light touch this has — it really adds very little color if applied lightly. But I think that's great for people who want to go gently into their tan. No horrible surprises. I also like that it has hyaluronic acid and vitamin C, making this a skincare spritz in addition to a light self-tanner.Granted, if you really saturate your face with this, or add multiple layers, you can get more color. But you'll also use the product up really fast for the same result you could get from a product with a higher concentrate of the active ingredient. So if you are hoping for deeper color with one pass, opt for medium or dark tanning drops — this one is for a light glow.

The first day that I used this I did the recommended three sprays on the face and then rubbed it in. It gave me a faint glow the next morning that was nice, however I like a darker color. So the next night I did 6 sprays and it worked great. I have been using the drops by this company but decided to use this as it does not need to be mixed in with moisturizer. What I really like about this is that it doesn’t have a foul tan odor like the drops do. It is a faint pleasant scent. It didn’t cause me any breakouts or rashes either and I have sensitive skin. I prefer this over the drops now for my face.

I have been using Isle of Paradise products for a while since they came out with their tinted drops. The Day Dew mist is another product I like a lot. I spritz this on my face and neck in the morning before I put on my moisturizer and foundation. I do think it does give one a “dewy” finish, but that is what I am looking for. My skin looks amazing since I’ve started using it.My tip is to use it before you get dressed- I noticed I got a bit on my shirt!

If you are looking for a natural "glow" and a shade or two darker... this is perfect for that! If you are wanting something more drastic, look elsewhere. I have pretty fair skin and have a hell of a time trying to find a good self tanner for my body and face. This so far has to be my favorite! The biggest plus is that I have yet to really break out from it. I use it every day until I reach the tan color I want, then am good for 5 days or so until I need to reapply. I think the kinds of face washes you use will have a huge impact on the longevity. If you use heavy exfoliants, the color wont last.Overall I am pleasantly surprised by this product and am currently looking for the matching body products!

Face mists are my new must have! I have tried a few luxury brand ones and haven't found a fun, clean brand like Isle of Paradise that has made a face mist like this one! The bottle is plastic, and fits in my palm perfectly but has a summer's worth of product! I apply it about 3 times a day here in Florida. I like it so much more than having to wear makeup in the heat. It makes me look so glowy and hydrated but I don't break out! The ingredients are clean and listed and I like that it includes instructions in order to get the most of the product by shaking to mix it! Mine came without a cap, so that is a little disappointing but the bottle has not leaked in my purse, pool or gym bag!

Good fake tan with a lovely fragrance. I would definitely recommend.

Feels quite sticky which is a huge shame as the smell is lovely. The spray could be finer too as spurts a bit so I’m wondering will it get worse over time.A nice colour though … a few tweaks in the making of it and would be a great product!
