So this product makes me laugh every time I see the listing, but not because of the product itself. More because of the chaos that ensued after.I bought this as a way to keep our dog contained while my wife and I were at work. When it came in, I put it together (went together easily and beautifully, I might add. Nice quality) and set it in place, then filled it with stuff our dog likes. As far as spaciousness, it's roomy. I got in the thing myself and could lay down comfortably, and our dog is a staffy mix, so certainly not my size. I'm 6'0" tall. We then proceeded to give it a trial run and left our dog inside while we went out for the evening.When we returned, the entire unit, our dog, and EVERYTHING inside, had moved across the house. Not sure why, but our dog had freaked out, somehow got the playpen onto its side, and hamster wheel-style rolled the whole thing around the house. You'll notice I gave the product a 5-star rating on the "maneuverability" because she drove this thing like a stolen race car around our living room and down a long hallway. Lamps were smashed, cords pulled, furniture knocked around, you name it. Utter chaos. In the middle of us walking in and seeing the carnage, there was our little dog, looking up at us and begging to be let out of her rolling prison, which had become hopelessly jammed into the hallway leading to our garage. Needless to say, we did not attempt to use the playpen again, and promptly returned it.NOW, I will say that I don't feel the situation was caused by the playpen itself. As I said, the construction was nice and roomy, the outer pockets were nice, so don't take this as a review against the quality. Just...make sure you weight the thing down if you have a dog with some weight to throw around. Our dog is 40 pounds soaking wet, but she's 100% muscle. We thought it was weighted down enough and we were obviously wrong. Maybe a heavier material for the bottom would be a good idea, I dunno. Needless to say, it was an adventure, and it led me to purchase a nanny cam in case similar shenanigans go down again.

I love AND hate how lightweight it is. When I got it and set it up... WONDERFUL... then got my pup to get into it. He was 7 months and 90 lbs and tall.... A great fit... but wait... when he got into it I had no bed there. He got out and it moved on him... he got scared. I tried again and again it moved. SO I had to put it up against the wall so it won't move when he gets out of it. It stopped moving. Then I found a round bed that would fit. It is big and fluffy and he got in and Bumped his head on the top netting. SO this is what I found. It is well made and great for moving it around and travel. But if you pup startles, expect some getting used to. (the getting out part) Mine now moves slowly getting out. And if you get a bed that fits the 52" round... then make sure it isn't TOO fluffy if your dog is tall. Bottom line... Great crate. Love that it has two openings if I need it. Love that I can remove the top netting when I want to. And the carry case is great too. Want to give it 5 starts... but wish they could do something about getting it to not move so easily when the dog is exiting or even entering. Weighted bumpers perhaps that go around the bottom for when you just need to keep it in place? I would buy those if they had them. After some getting used to.. my dog likes his new crate.

I bought this to help move my cats from one state to another, about 2000 miles of driving all told. They did great! I got them accustomed to it beforehand, and having their own space helped them get through the drive with minimal anxiety. I still keep it up in my room, and they continue to use it to nap and play. It’s lightweight, but the material is very strong. One of my cats likes scratching on it, and it’s yet to tear, even the mesh is still intact. One of the best purchases I’ve made on this site.

We got this playpen because we needed to take care of a neighborhood cat mom and her litter of kittens. We brought mom and kittens in and put a nest box in the playpen for them. They're almost 4 weeks old and the kittens are just now starting to pop out of the playpen and explore the wider world of the room where we have the play pen set up. It's been a great place to keep them safe and contained within the house for this period of time. It's very easy to set up and take down, and will be easy to store once we take it down. So glad we got this!

My baby (13 y/o male cat) had to have a surgery to remove a sarcoma in his lower abdomen. This was his second surgery of the kind, and after his first two years prior when he managed to remove his cone I was looking for something to make the recovery process less hellish. I bought this pen in the 48x48x32 size, and it comfortably fit him, his litter box, food and water bowl, and blankets for comfort. When we needed to give him meds, or when he started yelling for attention, we could climb inside to sit next to him. I left the top off for about the first week, at which point he started to try to climb out the top. He has always been a rather spirited boy, but he was not able to topple the pen or bust through it (not for lack of trying). We did let him out after about a week and a half, and for short periods of time earlier, to keep him from getting too antsy, so I suspect success may vary. It was also very easy to clean. The mesh never caught on sutures, which is something we were concerned about. Overall, this product was a lifesaver and I would recommend it to anyone looking to get some sleep while still being attentive to their post-op cat.

We bought this playpen for different occasions. We have a adult corgi.One, we often take our dog to our friends' place, who also have dogs. So we would take this with us in case we would need to leave the dog at our friends' place while we all go out for somewhere else.Two, we are pretty outdoorsy. Our dog likes the chill next to us when we are camping. Instead of tie him up to a chair or pole with his leash, we just put him in the playpen so that he can have a little more freedom.Three, our dog hates flying bug. So the mesh part can help him keep away from those bugs while enjoy the outdoor with us.Overall, I think it's a good purchase. Only the folding part is little tricky, but it's not that hard to figure it out.

I wanted a pen that had a removable bottom. This product has both zippered bottom and removable screened top. Our two small dachshunds are safe at the beach or home. There are two fly doors and when open, the dogs can run in and out. Plenty of space. Very light and airy. Comes with pegs to secure base. Recommend for anyone looking for a portable crate option or pen to use when travelling. No fuse setting up or taking down.

I purchased the small size in this for my puppy (havanese). I love that it has 2 doors (front and back) to go in and out of, is well ventilated and has a zippered floor. It also unfolds and folds up nicely for portability. The pen fits his crate as well as water and a few toys. Even when fully grown he will be able to use it, if needed. Thank you EliteField. This is a well constructed product at a reasonable price

we purchased the previous version of these years ago and have been trying to find them online ever since. The re-released version has several usability and durability improvements in the design (the zipped bottom is the best). We use them as internal crates for our two small-sized dogs and they're great for feeding, sleeping and time-out / calm down time
