I love everything about this sunscreen. A mineral sunscreen that doesn’t burn my face and goes perfectly under makeup. I’ve read that this is being discontinued for an oil-free version that is SPF40 vs 50. It is a bit expensive, but I was able to usually find on sale and stock up. Heartbroken that it’s being discontinued because it’s absolutely perfect.

This product works well for Sun, but it feels greasy at the end of the day. And it makes my eyes sting. Preferred the discontinued formula.

I’ve been a fan of Glo Skin sunscreens for years, specifically their oil-free chemical sunscreen. When I started using retinol, I needed a mineral sunscreen. I tried everything recommended by my derm, but they all left a white cast — and anything tinted was either too dewy or didn’t match my fair skin color and looked like a mask.Then I found Solar Shade. It is FANTASTIC. I don’t know why this SPF isn’t on every “Best sunscreen” article online. It goes on smooth, is hydrating, blends out seamlessly, leaves NO white cast (I’m fair, so not sure how this would perform on darker tones), and dries down to a velvet finish. It stays a tiny bit tacky, but not in a bothersome way — more like a weightless primer. All this, AND it’s SPF 50!I feel beautifully protected in this sunscreen.

I’ve used tons of various sunblocks, sunscreens, cosmetics with spf, etc. Mineral sunblocks are the most effective for me, but have always felt heavy and mask-like. EXCEPT this! I apply two pumps to my hands then apply to face, and within 30 seconds: It completely melts into my skin and leaves no trace of the initial white color, and feels absolutely luxurious and clean and light as a feather. Yes, it’s expensive, but keeps me protected and is an absolute desert-island must-have product!!

Love it!! This is one of the best facial sunscreens I have ever used. It doesn't sting and it's so easy to apply. Doesn't leave a white residue once its all rubbed in. I hype pigment easily and this has help prevent reoccurrences'. I will definitely order again

I have sensitive skin with rosacea and this product is the best! It instantly calms, moisturizes and protects my skin from sun all day long. Just love it!
