I use these as indoor alarm triggers and they work perfectly. Pros: - Reliable motion detection - Incredible 1/4 mile LoRa range (even through walls) - Low power usage and long battery life - Integrates seamlessly with the full YoLink ecosystem Cons: - Requires the YoLink Hub Combined with door/window sensors, the outdoor siren, smart plugs, and the phone app, you can build a complete custom alarm system. Arm/disarm from anywhere, get notifications, and trigger lights or sirens automatically. The app takes a bit to learn but once set up it's powerful. The low radiation LoRa technology makes the whole system far more reliable and safer than WiFi alternatives. Best smart home security setup I've found. Would I recommend? Yes, 5 stars.

I have been using YoLink products for 4 years now. This is another great product of theirs. Simple to install, great battery life and does a great job of what it’s supposed to do. Best thing is the long range. No more worrying about whether your Wi-Fi signal is going to be strong enough, YoLink products use LORA, which is a low frequency, long range radio wave system that gives up to 1/4 mile range. I have YoLink sensors as far as 800’ from my hub and no problem. With the 40 or so YoLink sensors I have, I’ve had to deal with YoLink tech support a few times and have always found them to be over-the-top excellent in their response, even going so far as to send me replacements as long as several years after my purchase. I’m an electrical engineer with a specialty in digital communication and I design radio frequency communication products among other things. I have nothing but good things to say about YoLink products and support.

Love the Yolink brand. This sensor works great. I have it set up in the basement and it will let me know each time my cat goes to his liter box. The vet wanted to know how often he was going to the box as he has a UTI. The logs were helpful keeping track of the data. I also have it turn a smart outlet on that has a floor lamp plugged into. The lamp only turns on when it is dark but the sensor reports 24/7. The sensor also turns the light off after 10 minutes of no activity. Getting another for my garage.

At first I wasn't sure about the sensor because I thought I was getting false motion alerts, but after reviewing my security camera footage I noticed it was triggering every time a cloud blocked the sun. After taking it out of direct sunlight I had no more false alarms. The connection to Alexa works great. I have it set up so that it works just like the ring doorbell (Alexa annouces "motion detected in the backyard" for example). It's very reliable!

I usually give Yoiink 5 star reviews, as I have MANY of their products that work well all over my house. However, these two sensors I bought are erratic. One works from time to time when tested (someone walking by the sensor) and the other one does the same but more often (falls asleep?). Disappointed with YoLink on this order. Products are going back.
