The Woolsche 10-Sheet Cross Cut Paper Shredder is well made and worth the price. The materials feel solid, and the setup was straightforward right out of the box. It’s easy to use, not finicky, and performs consistently when shredding documents. The machine feels durable and reliable for regular home or small office use. Overall, a good quality shredder that does exactly what it’s supposed to do without unnecessary hassle.

This shredder works great. Perfect for the occasional, few pages at a time and the credit card capability works great. I can now easily take care of destroying confidential and sensitive information without worries of it being stolen and used.

For a shredder that’s under $40 it does a decent job overall. Just make sure your expectations are aligned with its capabilities. PRO: It’s relatively quiet for a small shredder and does shred paper pretty well. It has a small footprint so it doesn’t need much space. It’s easy to empty and doesn’t weigh much. CON: it’s not particularly fast at 2.5 ppm and I’ve found the feed slot a bit narrow compared to other units I’ve used. It claims 10 ppm but my experience is it starts to struggle at 5-6 pages at once and I was able to get it to jam, forcing a disassembly to manually clear it. Running a large amount of paper through it will cause it to overheat/shutdown. The 3.4 gallon bucket fills up quickly. Overall: I wouldn’t say it’s a “heavy duty” unit, but adequate if you’re only going to shred a few pages, junk mail etc. I’d recommend a faster higher capacity unit if you plan/need to dispose a large quantity of documents.

I previously had the discontinued model C220P which I sadly, one day mistakenly tried to shred a credit card unknowingly that contained metal inside. It deformed the opening of the feeder and would no longer auto shred paper. After two years my favorite shredder was toast. It probably would've never stopped working had I not tried to shred the metal credit card. Because of the reliability of that model (which is no longer available for sale), I ended up having to buy this model CD222P which performs very well as expected. Even reverse function seems more powerful. Hoping this one holds up like the last and I will be sure to test credit cards with scissors (for presence of metal) before trying to shred next time. I haven't had to try customer service yet. So, cannot comment on that. Which is a positive for me.

I bought this mostly to shred mail and papers with private information. It does the job but it gets tired quickly and will stop working after a few minutes of shredding. You then have to wait for it to cool down before you can shred more which takes a while. As far as the sheet capacity it will shred 10 sheets at a time but sometimes it definitely seems to struggle with it and a few times jammed up on me and one of those jams I couldn't get all the paper out using the reverse feature that it has and ended up having to take it apart to get all the paper out. After doing that it was pretty difficult to get it lined up properly to put it back together again, but I finally managed after many attempts. Although it can sometimes shred 10 sheets without a problem I now usually will only do 5 or 6 at a time just not to risk it getting jammed again. The collection container for the shredded paper is quite small and needs to be emptied often. Just shredding a couple of days worth of mail I have to empty it at least two or three times before I'm finished. The little slot for credit cards does work pretty well and shreds the cards into small strips. I haven't had any problems with that jamming or anything. For my purposes it's an ok shredder. I wouldn't recommend for anyone needing to shred large volumes of paper or anything related to business where there's a lot to get rid of but for personal home use and small amounts of mail and stuff it does the job. For the price it performs pretty much how I expected it would and gets the job done.

Haven't had a chance to use it yet. Came with a USA 2-pin plug. Not mentioned in the product description. Have had to order an adapter.

Surpreende pela performance, ela cumpre o que promete, muitas vezes o rendimento é maior do que o anunciado antes de desligar no automático e precisar aguardar o tempo de descanso. A trituradora é eficiente e fácil de manusear, sendo automática e funcionando apenas na hora de colocar os papéis para triturar economizando energia e a própria vida útil do equipamento. O tempo necessário de resfrio também é menor em relação às outras do mesmo valor. Lubrifico facilmente as engrenagens do triturador com óleo daqueles em spray em folha de papel sulfite. Compraria novamente!

The shredder works well. I have used the disc shredder as well which is adequate, but the shredded pieces could be smaller. The unit does overheat after long usage, after maybe 45 minutes to an hour of paper shredding. If the unit stops working and it feels quite warm, my advice is to leave it for a while and let it cool. The built in breaker (or whatever is used) works, but it is possible to keep using the machine. If I remember correctly the unit can be turned off or unplugged and it will shred again at the point of overheating (again, let it cool for a while).

This is the cats meow. So.tired of tearing up old hydro bills water bills etc to combat identity theft. The garbage pickers rummaging through the garbage are insane these days and all ot takes is one to collect your personal info. This thing shreds that evidence like a champ. No more worries of personal info making it to the trash
