After using Rogaine for years, my scalp began to react to it to the point I could no longer use the product. I couldn't take minoxidil because of low blood pressure. When I stopped using Rogaine, my hair was falling out at an alarming rate! The dermatologist recommended trying laser treatment that works for some people. The laser caps are very expensive. I searched for the best laser cap I could find for the money, taking a chance the treatment might not work. Well I have good news to report. Using the Capillus laser cap every day for just 6 minutes a day, after 10 months I noticed some new hair growth. After a year, the new hairs are about a 1/4 inch long! I've gone from trying to figure out how to cover my head with scarves to being very hopeful of having a full head of hair again! This Capillus seems to work! Yay!

I've used the cap every day for two or so years now. No results. Hair loss by my estimate; both by rough count I've collected through a shower drain made to collect hairs and through photograph comparison from when I first started shows no change in hair decline. ...I wanted this to work, much like you who's reading this or anyone else who's losing their hair probably does. But it doesn't... This cap is useless, and at best can only act as a placebo. (If you were skeptical enough to read these reviews, then the placebo effect isn't going to work on you) The cap says it's "FDA Cleared" but as it turns out, this means absolutely nothing. You can watch John Oliver's episode on medical devices that receive the "FDA cleared" over the "FDA approved" on YouTube (Skip the first 5 minutes), or look it up yourself if you'd like but the takeaway is the 'FDA cleared' makes use of a loophole in the system, and doesn't mean the device actually works. Worse, any medical device with an 'FDA cleared' can even be dangerous for you to use. Although I'm not saying this one is. Regardless, yes. This is a scam product. I'm embarrassed to say I bought it but if my foolishness saves anyone from the same fate, I'll own up to my stupidity. With that said, studies show laser therapy can work. But if you're looking for a laser cap you must find one that's "FDA approved", and even then there's no guarantee it will work for you.After a day or two of research, I would instead recommend you look into the following before buying any laser therapy cap -1. The shampoos you use. Sulfate-based ones can damage your hair.2. Buying a water testing kit. Shower water with trace amounts of Fluoride, chlorine, copper, and limescale can also damage your hair. (In the case you find the water you use has any, you can look for a shower head filter that deals with the specific trace amount.)3. Vitamin deficiency. Taking Zinc, D, C, and Biotin may help solve or slow down your hair problem.4. Increase your intake of L-lysine. This can be found in red meat, or by eating eggs.5. DHT inhibitors - Zinc, Pumpkin seed oil, green tea extract, Stinging Nettle root, and Omega 3In regards to the item itself -Came with everything advertised.The cap fits well on the head. Very comfortable so long as you keep it clean.The battery pack is a joke. The plastic is brittle and within the first few weeks parts of the plastic casing broke off. Luckily in my case, this did not hinder the battery from functioning as it was still able to power the cap, but it's a real wonder how the damage occurred in the first place. I treated this thing with the utmost care. Especially the battery when I first saw what was happening, but no matter how gently I handled it the casing just did not want to stay together. Eventually, the cracks and flaking stopped. But It's almost like this thing had a mind of its own to destroy itself. Never seen anything like this happen, honestly. Though, not like it matters... As the cap did nothing anyway.

I had a great deal of hair loss after I was infected with covid. I had to actually have Bosley do hair transplants. After the procedure your hair are supposed to fall out, lay dormant for 2 months then start growing. Well I bought my Camillus One 2 weeks after my procedure and started using it every morning. It's been 2 months and only a small portion of the hairs fell out and the rest of them are growing like weeds. I can not believe how long they are getting. My receding hairline is way less noticeable and being a woman in my late 50s this is more important than you can ever imagine. If this is what can happen in just 2 months I am excited to see what is in store for me over the next 12 months. When I am done I am going to try getting my husband to use it. Will update my review in a few more months.

So easy to use. 6 minutes a day it turns off automatically.As you can see from the 2nd picture, new growth and less thinning. My hairdresser even asked what I was doing.

This thing worked for my husband and super easy. 7 mins a day after 1 1/2 months he had hair growth. I did also purchase the shampoo recommended.

So far this product seems to be working well, my only complaint being the noise it makes when it's timer is done. It's louder than even the smoke alarms in my house, and is incredibly disruptive to everyone in my home. I've had to wrap the battery in multiple towels just to dampen the sound, why they put that feature on this thing is beyond me!

Purchased this hat after reading about laser hats. After using the hat for 3 months little brown spot were starting to show, after 5 months they were obvious. Talked to my dermatologist and was told this was from the laser hay. Tried talking with Capillus and after (2 weeks) saying that it wasn't from the hat, then they told me it could actually be faulty lasers. But will not issue a refund.DO NOT BUY!
