Anastasia Beverly Hills - Brow Pen

Exactly what I wanted both in controlling color application and color of pen. I was a dark blond before my hair turned white and gray with streaks of original hair color showing through. This pen allows color application on individual hairs, to paint each strand. I love it. Blonde color I bought is not too light or brassy.

I have had this product for over a month. It has not dried out at all. It is a bit difficult to apply - you need to be VERY light handed. I have patches of my eyebrows with no hair, so when I do it right, it looks great.

I used this pencil for years and then Anastasia discontinued the pen. I like many, were very upset. Fast forward years later and brow pens with ultra points are in vogue. Anastasia brings the pen back. If you need to create hairs on your brows this is an excellent brow pen and well worth the money. If you keep the cap on it should last you a good amount of time. I use chocolate to draw my hairlines and caramel to color in my brow. It does take patience, a light hand, and a learning curve to draw hairline strokes but the pen is superior for this purpose. I highly recommend it.

Dried up

I have thinning eyebrows with some bare spots, so I really need a good brow product. There is lots to love about this product. Excellent control, the ability to target very small specific spots, lots of color choice (more on that later). I use it every day as it’s the best product I’ve found. I’ve also tried both thicknesses of pencil from Anastasia, but prefer the pen because it only requires a light touch and allows me to be more precise. With that said, there are some issues with it. First of all, when new, a LOT of product is dispensed - way too much. For the first couple weeks of use, I literally don’t let the tip touch my skin. I have to just touch it to the hair on my eyebrows - even in bare spots there is tiny invisible skin hair, and that’s what I touch the tip to. It’s like skimming the tip just above my skin. And even then, I have to brush the product out bc it’s dark and harsh. After using it for a couple of week that excess product dissipates and I can touch my skin. It still ends up too dark and needs to be brushed out, but once I do that it’s great. It lasts all day and looks very natural. My only other complaint is that I wish there was a color between Taupe and Blond. I’m medium brunette, and blond is a little too light on me and Taupe is too dark. I can’t understand why there are so many color options that are all darker than Taupe (for those unfamiliar, Taupe is the second lightest color offered and Blond is the lightest). Obviously darker colors are needed, but it’s not like I’m blond or red haired - it’s crazy that a brunette would find that the second lightest color in the line is too dark. That’s why I have to always brush it out. I just wish I could just apply the product and have the color be right instead of having to brush it out, reapply if I accidentally removed too much, brush it again, etc. It’s a pain, especially because it can be hard to get the same amount of product on both brows and they can end up mismatched if I’m not careful. None of that would be an issue if there was an in between color.

The brow pencils are perfect for accentuating my brows and go on smooth. Love Anastasia cosmetics.

Waste of money

It was a good colour for me and had a very precise brush. Easy to apply. Product seemed very fresh.

Great color for light brown eyebrows !Stays in place without needing any touch up for hours. The longest I had my eyebrows done with this pencil was about 15 hours and they were intact.Makes perfect lines, the tip is very flexible and made of bristles.Best eyebrow pen I tried so far.

the pen tip was great..but the actual colour needs to be more specific. The dark brown was almost black, and my daughter who I bought it for has brown hair. Its wayyyyy to dark! So be cautious.
