Pete & Pedro and Pomade - Best Hair Styling Pomade for Men

This is an excellent product. Firstly, it's softer than any pomade that I've used recently, which is great. Secondly, it smells like peppermint...Peppermint!...not hair grease. Thirdly, it has great hold. I just lightly touch my finger on the top, and the small amount that comes up is enough. Forget about the "dime size amount," which always looks a lot bigger than a dime. Just lightly dab your finger in it, and you're good to go. This stuff is the real deal, and it's going to last for months. It's better quality than the cheap stuff and more straightforward than the super-expensive stuff. I like it so much that I bought Putty as well. Putty doesn't smell like peppermint. It smells more like a bar of white soap, and it has a different consistency to it, but it also has great hold. I'd recommend them both. 5 stars!

I would give this a four and a half. It is a solid product no doubt. Totally beats the other men’s hair styling options. My hair is always (very) frizzy when I get out of the shower and I was hoping that this would help manage the frizzynes... It’s not all there yet, though it does help a bit and has an impressive feel and look to it. The best part for me is that unlike other brands; this doesn’t feel like rubbish (wax and what not...) in your hair. It feels good. Thanks Aaron for your good work and service.

I searched for a long time for the right pomade for me. I found Pete and Pedro about a year and a half ago and this is IT. I didn't want greasy so that meant water based. But all the other water based either had no hold, or they had weird smells to them, or failed half way through the day. This stuff is perfect in my opinion. Great hold, all day long, and a very fresh crisp but subtle fragrance to it that you only smell when you're putting it on, so it doesn't "smell you up" as the day progresses. And it makes my hair look great. My best results are using it right after a shower with very towel dried hair, or if I want a more formal look I use it with just fairly towel dried hair. It also works great on mid day dry hair. Great hold. And I never would have expected it but I get a lot of compliments on my hair from ladies, which never happened before. I didn't get better looking but my hair did. This stuff works and has great hold. Would you rather spend a little less and have average hair, or a little more and have great hair? P.S. To me the price is just fine. I'd rather have all the other dudes save money and look average, and i will spend a couple dollars more, have great looking hair. The prettier the girl, the more she'll notice your hair. So on second thought do not buy....you'll crowd me.

It states high hold with shine .. there is absolutely no shine at all and the hold is practically non existent don’t waste your money your better off with getting gel at the dollar store

Great Smell.Great Hold. Great product. Gives you a classic look. This pomade holds for hours with just a fingertip full of product. Put into wet or damp hair and it stays looking wet or damp and how you comb it, for a long time. Want less of a slick/wet look, simple comb through it until you reach the desired effect. Your hair never gets too hard, and looks good all day long. Product isnt greasy and washes off your hands and out of your hair easily with water. Do not hesitate to try any of the P&P products that fit your needs. They're the real deal in hair products, and deliver the goods as advertised.
