Wow. I love my Darts Connect board! I do not use it for online matches (yet), but it is connected to my iPad and there is no delay. My friends and I agree that it is almost just as good as going to the bar except that their App could use some funding. More game options would be nice, and it looks like they are working on different sounds. I picked this one so that I could have some control over the scoreboard interface. The other dart board scoreboards are small and this one I can pick a background and set on my bar so that I can actually see it WHILE I'm throwing. My friends now just need to get their own so I can try online games. If you are having problems setting it up and connecting for the first time: 1. plug it in to power source so that you can rule out a battery strength problem 2. Re read the instructions and start over. I am not computer savvy so it took me 2 hours to get it set up, but obviously if I am willing to overlook that bad experience the board must be awesome!

I've spent about 2-3 hours on it in solo mode and have enjoyed it immensely
Setup Was ok .It loses connection from time to time forgets network info , needs a general system reboot every now and then.4/5 darts stick for me using stock darts .have some widows on the way , will update with results of nicer darts .Lobby is empty as of 4-5 8-9 11-12 pm mountain time .both servers , all game modes , no random connections worked .was hoping for streaming video , however its pictures .streaming is a few bucks a month both players need it if you both want to see each other .I've spent about 2-3 hours on it in solo mode and have enjoyed it immensely .would rate higher if opponents were more readily available and or it just connected every time no issues .

Before buying, check out requirements.
Getting this product configured is sometimes not as straightforward as I would like it to be.Here are some requirements that potential buyers might want to know about before purchasing:Android 4.0.3 and up (not sure for iOS version)(Some devices like the HTC6435LVW can't install the DartsConnect app via the Play store, but it works through an APK extractor)Wifi Network at 2.4ghz not 5ghzYour phone/tablet/etc connected to the same 2.4ghz network, it won't work if your phone connects at 5ghzThe Wifi network cannot have special characters in the name (Not sure about the password)Sometimes you'll have to go through this process again if it hasn't been on for a few hours. When setting up the board for the first time, you will need to use a phone/tablet that will stay connected to a wifi network that doesn't have external internet access. My Nexus 6P and Nexus 5 would not do this step for some reason, but the HTC6435LVW would do it and worked for setup after getting the APK installed.Long story short, setting up this board is potentially a pain, but not impossible, if your network and devices are similar to mine :)It appears to strongly encourage users to use Facebook for their login. Once setup it's a lot of fun!
Great board. A little tough to set up but may have been me working through an extender instead of our router.

The dart board is great when it works
The dart board is great when it works. They problem is it's completely unreliable. Every time I decide to play it's a chore to get it to connect to my tablet or phone. Connection issues then persist while trying to play a game. Even getting a direct connection between the board and a device can be difficult. There has to be a better more reliable way to make this product work. I've given it over a year of frustration and I've finally had enough with it.If you want a board to be able to turn on and play without messing with settings and connections for a half hour look elsewhere.

The board seems to be working fine. I like the phone app for the scoring
The board seems to be working fine. I like the phone app for the scoring. We have the app loaded on a couple I pads and bring the iPads to the dartboard when we want to play. I read reviews about the board that were very mixed. If I was to buy a board again maybe I would get one with the scoring electronics incorporated into the board so we don't need to have and iPad handy. However, I am still pleased with this board.

Do not waste your money
I have had this board for a little less than 3 months and it no longer functions correctly!!!! The bulls eye doesn't count over 75 percent of the time and here in the last two weeks the 20 has stopped working half the time, the 16 and the 17 are acting up 40 percetn of the time and nothing is sticking anymore. The app crashes and the camera works about 10 percent of the time. I thought well I just need to reach out to the company and get it replaced under warranty. Boy was I wrong. It took over 2 weeks for them to even respond. They asked me to take it apart and try to determine if the board was still in tact. I did as they requested even though it was up-surd. Everything was in place. They then told me to try several other things which did not work. Now they will not even respond. Do not waste your money. I suggest looking into other boards.
