AMAZING for me! I'm a BELIEVER!
So...I've been going to the same stylist for almost 20 years! I love her as a person, but I am just not feeling good after I visit her these days. I decided to try to boost my highlights (did I even get highlights?) on my own, to tone down the mousy dark blonde/ brown. I was really nervous about this, as most highlighting kits turn me orange. This time, I tried a less-than-$14 kit from L'oreal that is gentle, ammonia-free, appropriate for color-treated hair, and guaranteed to not turn one's hair red. (It also smells lovely!) I used my hairbrush to apply the cream and pulled it down the strands on the top; added some to lowers layers, and even applied a bit to the forgotten strands at the bottom that brush back from my forehead and temples. The whole process took one hour, left no red, saved me $120, and is more gorgeous than ANYTHING I've had done at a salon. I say "yes" to all of this! (My hair is still drying in the photo below, but you get the idea...).

Excellent Alternative To L'Oreal's Discontinued Touch-On Highlights
I've used the Touch-On Highlights for 20 years (Champagne) and was frantic when L'Oreal discontinued it, without a replacement. Fortunately, I discovered this product on Amazon - L'Oreal's representative didn't even mention it when I called them to inquire. Sally Beauty Supply has carried this for years.I applied Crème Highlighting with a 1/4 inch wide nylon brush and left it on for 35 minutes. After washing it out with Joico shampoo, I towel dried my hair and applied Joico's K-Pak Intense Hydrator - combed it through - then I applied Manic Panic Virgin Snow over the conditioner and combed it through, as well. I wrapped my head in saran wrap tightly and left it in for 30 minutes. After rinsing everything out and letting my hair dry (without a hair dryer) - I brushed it out and discovered I have brilliant silvery golden highlights! The Manic Panic Virgin Snow is excellent for toning down brassiness and I use it every couple of weeks. It contains zero peroxide.I highly recommend Crème Highlighting kit! I'm very happy to have found the correct product, inexpensive, and easy to find, from multiple sources.

Found the results very reliable and pretty drastic... would not use multiple times though because it's still powerful stuff
Ok so I'm not the perfect candidate for this. I tried this on parts of my super long hair after having used too many dark colors for too long, leaving me with few options. This definitely allowed me to get brighter colors again, which was the goal. First of all, I should have bought two bottles even though I didn't intend on doing my whole hair. Just because I didn't realize how much hair I really have. The color lightened to a weird peachy red which is due to the years of using manic panic and other types of dye on my natural hair. This is also expected. Of course it weakened my hair, made it drier, and probably will lead to some of it being cut sooner. Again, no way to escape this when you're trying to lift hair color intensely. I was VERY impressed where I used it on virgin hair. My hair is light brown and this took it STRAIGHT to white blonde which was amazing. I imagine not everyone could get this because my hair was already not very dark naturally, but I was impressed because usually yellow is the result. As my post bleach color has faded it's kind of a pale red shade where it's faded the most, which I don't really mind right now. My takeaway is this is a pretty good product and though my hair is damaged it's not destroyed, some extra conditioning keeps it pretty tame. I doubt if you wanted to get your whole head of hair white blonde to do silver or pastel colors that you could do this without some damage, but it's pretty good all considered.

First time at home highlighter, very impressed!
Just wanted to add a few summer highlights to my naturally blonde hair and didn't want to spend an arm and a leg plus a huge chunk of my day at a salon. This stuff is amazing and fun to use. I actually learned about this product from a You Tube video and got some great instruction on using it.

Lovely results
I used the palm method for application. I had a perm 2weeks ago and my medium length hair is now curly so I didn't want to use a comb or brush. I made the mixture (half of it) and had rubber gloves on my hands, filled my fingers into the mix and just scrunched it into my hair, waited the 35 minutes suggested without applying heat. I was prepared for nothing spectacular and was quite pleased to be wrong. It highlighted my medium brown (dyed 2 month ago) hair into gorgeous blond/copper highlights. I would used this again. It's actually quite easy👍.

So much better than drugstore box dyes to go blonde!!
This is so much better than the box dyes I have been buying from various stores. My roots were a medium brown, plus I had a good amount of grey mixed in . The rest of my Hair was blonde. This lightened my hair to a light yellow blonde, minimal if any, damage I did make sure not To wash my hair for a couple of days before using this. When your is a darker color , it’s almost impossible to go blonde without some undertones of yellow/orange/brassy. With any bleach product, you will need to use a permanent toner after the bleaching process. . Purple shampoo will not work for that . Final result of this product was fabulous!

Do not use your toothbrush.
So the product itself is amazing. The person putting it on (me), not so much. As long as you don’t get impatient and try to use this without a cap or brush or experience which it doesn’t come with and use a toothbrush... yes... I said toothbrush...then you will be fine. Lightens like crazy. Doesn’t fry. Wish it had cap. Also I have black hair so I had dyed parts with grey black. And never noticed not blended cuz it matched my dyed hair really, really well. But, when you put this on dark hair you better hope that every previous dark dye job covered evenly cuz it ends up spotty on that front, too. Just get a cap and only do tiny strands your first go round ladies and gents.
