It was bigger than expected so my dwarf hamster has a lot of space so, it would fit a bigger hamster. But the top where the hamster head entrance is has been chewed. So overall it is a great product.

My daughter's hamster loves this sandbath. I replace the sand daily because she also uses it as her litter box, and she watches and waits until I'm done before running over to roll and dig in the fresh sand. She covers her pee like a cat, so I like that this bath has a cover to prevent sand from scattering outside of the dish. It's a good size for larger, fancy bear hamsters.

I think this would be a tight fit for Syrian hamsters, but my 3 roborovskis and my djungarian LOVE this sandbath. I recommend using this with Reptisand (not the calcium kind) or children's play sand (just bake it to sterilise it first though) because all other sand marketed towards hamsters and chinchillas are WAY too dusty and can cause respiratory issues. Its the perfect size for my hamsters, they love to take naps in it and dig around too. I highly recommend for dwarf hamsters!! As you can see from the picture my Momo loves to sleep in it.

The item is small but big enough for my Robo Hamsters . They use it frequently without the need to potty train them. The Robo Hamsters are small comparing to others. They get in and out with no trouble at all.

Our dwarf hamster loves this. At first, he was scared to climb in. His little legs would dangle and he’d wiggle back out. However, we kept it in his cage and he was comfortable using it within a couple of hours. I bought it to be used as a sand bath and we use reptile sand, but he 100% uses it as a potty! When new sand is first added, he will roll around in it. However, then it quickly becomes the restroom and I have to empty it often. The little scoop it comes with is helpful, but I don’t use it because our hamster urinates in there and all of the sand must be completely swapped out.

Got this for my daughter's hamster. It's quite a bit small compared to her hamster. The little pooper scooper is adorable and so is the whole bathroom, however it was too small for her hamster to use. He has no room to roll around and clean himself.

The media could not be loaded. Great value for the $$$ spent! Perfect size for our Syrian hamster with enough room to move around. Made a big difference with the smell of her habitat. Easy to clean, and the clear top makes it easier to see if she needs fresh sand or simply needs to be scooped out.

Both of my Winter White Dwarf Hamsters love the sand bath. My female loves to clean herself in hers and my male likes to use his as a bathroom pan.I recommend purchasing the "Zoo Med ReptiSand, 10 Pounds, Desert White" bathing sand to go with this sand bath. It works great with this enclosure and is very high quality. The other Hamster "Sands" on Amazon are complete crap and are mostly DUST (WHICH WILL KILL YOUR HAMSTER). Also don't go for Kids Playing Sand. Most of it comes infested with bugs of some kind.
