The clamp that doesn't clamp and the changes that need to be made to fix the problem
I love the product it just has one problem it needs foam rubber strips on the clamping mechanism to hold your phone it slippe's out and if you like me a phone hitting the floor is not a good thing

Absolute junk. Can barely hold a skinny phone. Let alone be usable for recordings
Way too shallow of a grip, weak spring, weak nut, absolutely junk. Spektrum should be ashamed do they even test these things? I tried it with the skinniest phone every with no case and it barely grips it. It KINDA does but as soon as you move your phone will pop out. That isn't even the worst. It's too short so you can't really angle it to take a good video recording. Spektrum is so bad that they can't even figure out a better angle for it and of course with all spektrum telemetry you need to have all their product but I just wanted this to take some nice rc shots. Spektrum failing us again. They are clearly the new traxxas it seems, but at least traxxas makes a superior phone mount

You will have to secure your phone this won't hold it tightly. Hair ties work great with it

Adds another dimension to driving your RC car
A simple and very effective way to allow your phone (with the Spektrum app & the Blue Tooth module) to display lots of metrics and data from your R/C car .. seems a bit expensive for a "bit of plastic" but the functionality it gives you is well worth it.
