Absolutely TASTELESS! No flavor. No seasoning used...like Old Bay. Disappointing. Both of us are East Coasters so we thought crab cakes would be a unique Thanksgiving dinner.

I'm from MD, grew up there and know crabcakes. I'm also a Chef.These are pretty good pan-seared in butter. Are they the best in the world? No!Are they as close to a MD crabcake you can buy frozen? YES!They are quick, full of lump crab and taste great. If you're from MD then you know you need to hook it up after they are sauteed with a little Old Bay or Worchestershire or mayo or whatever you put on your crabcake.Does this Maryland Chef recommend this?EVERY TIME! THEY WORK AND ARE VERY GOOD!

Not enough of them for the price

a few boxes we bought at a big-box store that starts with a "C". We thought maybe the first purchases were just off, so we tried again with an open mind. Anyway, there is now more breading and less seasoning, probably less crab. We find these crab cakes inedible now. It all seemed to happen after the pandemic. But the pandemic is no excuse for the change in quality and taste.
