The best for a reason

Great for self watering planters
Bought this as a base layer for self watering planters, and it works great! I layer about a quarter inch of pon at the bottom of the planter and covered with potting soil to help transfer the water up from the reservoir into the soil, and I've had absolutely no problems with it in any of my planters so far. I haven't tried transferring to 100% pon though, I just use it as an intermediary between planter and soil.

There is no better Pon. This, along with the self watering planters helped me from „plant-killer“ to „Mr Jungle“.

Packaging not the same as advertised
Packaging is in German and I ordered the one in English. Also this bag seems thinner and more liable to rip than the one I thought I was ordering.

The Best Decision I Made for My Alocasias!
I’ve moved my entire Alocasia collection to Lechuza PON because of a fungus gnat problem, and I’ve never been happier with the results. It retains moisture really well while still providing excellent aeration, and my Alocasias have never looked healthier. The quality of the PON is excellent too. Since switching to Lechuza PON, I haven’t seen a single fungus gnat.
