Anker Power Bank, 622 Magnetic Battery (MagGo), 5000mAh Foldable Magnetic Wireless Portable Charger and USB-C for iPhone 14/13 Series

Overall a very good product, however I will be returning it! The product does everything that is says on the amazon page, very nice looking, the stand is very good, magnetic connectivity to the phone is very strong. The only downside (which is my fault for not reading on the website) is that it only provides an iPhone 13 Pro Max 0.5 times battery charge. So my Phone went from 20% to 84% and the charging pack died so I do not really see the point. I tend to carry a battery pack for days out where I may need multiple phone charges for me and my girlfriend, I wouldn't bother really bringing this anywhere due to the fact it only promises half a charge. If the battery charge potential is not an issue for you I highly recommend this product, however it is higher priced than its competitors.

I am really pleased with this charger. It looks great and the built in stand option is really useful when you want to prop the phone up on a table to watch a video in a coffee shop for example. It provides ample charge to get you out of a low battery situation without the hassle of wires. You won't get a full battery charge from this device but that's not its intended purpose. Think of it as being that plastic container of petrol you carry in the boot of your car in case you run out of fuel on a long journey and you're still miles from a petrol station. The magnetic connection is pretty secure and I am also able to fit the phone into my top pocket with the charger attached. I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max and i'm using a Spigen clear Magsafe case on my phone.

I'm reasonably impressed with this battery pack. I have an iPhone 14 pro max so my review is based on this: Pros: Always have power and much easier to carry around then a battery pack with wires The stand is useful for an office environment You can FINALLY use USB to "charge" your iPhone, connect to the battery pack and charge that through USB Larger battery and cheaper (and, subjecitve I know but looks better IMHO) then the apple MagSafe powerbank Cons: Heats up massively during charging Can only charge a large battery iPhone to around 60%. Probably connected to the energy lost through heat Magsafe Magnet is significantly weaker than the Apple Magsafe powerbank. This freqently slides off the back of the phone, the Apple version stays soldily on, even in my pocket after a long walk. All in all though, it is a very useful we of ensuring you never run out of battery and the stand adds a slight functionality boost. I would recommend this

I love this battery - it's so handy to have when out for the day and I might run out of power for my phone. It's also great that it doubles-up as a phone stand so I use it in coffee shops or on trains plus in my home office just so it's easier to see if I get a message or calls coming in. The only issue I have is that you can't stop it charging your phone when you attach it. I wanted to avoid draining the battery charging my phone when I went out for the day incase my daughter needed it to charge her phone. I contacted Anker and they said it's not possible to switch off the charging capability. This is a shame - there is a power button on the battery so would have thought it would be possible to turn it off. They said they would speak to their engineering team about adding this feature. Other than that it's a great product.

I was so disappointed when I got this. I bought it for my wife after I had got another Anker changed that looked exactly the same. I was chuffed with my battery charger until this arrived. As soon as I opened the box I saw that this one was an upgrade of the one I had bought only a few months before! Not much of a different except, wow you can stand this one up with the nifty little magnetic stand. Why was a disappointed? Well Because I had told my wife that this was her one and now she has a better charger than me. The product: - Feels solid but have a lovely smooth finish. Fits the iPhone 13 pro perfectly. - the little stand is an exceptional little upgrade than the previous versions, I hope design engineer got a bonus for that one. Overall: Quality as always from Anker, I would buy again in fact if I walk in and see my wife’s phone standing up with this attached to the back I probably will have to get another and “gift” my old one to a friend.

I debated over the official Apple MagSafe battery for weeks. In the end it just wasn’t worth the money, it’s performance is average, and it has no USB-C. It wasn’t until recently I came across this product from Anker which ticks all the boxes. It’s size and shape is great and fits the phone perfectly with a strong magnetic connection. It’s build quality is spot on. It has a much higher capacity than the Apple one for half the price, and the back folds down into a handy kickstand - perfect for travelling! The icing on the cake is the USB-C port which means it can also be used for other devices such as an Oculus Quest or anything that uses USB-C. Finally it charges at the same speed as the official one, unless the official one is also connected to the mains via a lightning cable in which case it then charges at 15v. Finally the only thing you are missing by not buying the official battery pack is an iOS animation when you connect it, and the use of the battery widget to show you how much charge is left in the pack. Some people love that sort of thing and it will sway them to buy the much poorer value official battery over this superb product. This will be going everywhere with me when I travel!

*I want to point out that Anker includes on the product page that the iPhone 14 Pro is compatible, so that is the angle of my review. If I had an older iPhone model my views would be different* As always Anker is such a good value solution to the overpriced Apple 1st party products. Amazes me how they do this and the products still seem like you are getting a premium product. What they've done perfectly is realise that sane people don't want to be ripped off but also are happy to still pay a decent amount as opposed to going for the complete crap alternatives. I will list the Good & Bad below and elaborate where needed. The Good: - Premium feel (Nice rubberised texture) - Strong magnet - USB-C charging is incredible to have for both charging the bank quicky or using the port for wired charging - Just about an acceptable size (You definitely know it's there while holding your phone or in your pocket but to be fair it's about the size of the Apple one. - Nice to have colour options for those who aren't boring like me and get black - Light indicators are handy and easy to understand after a couple of uses The Bad: - It doesn't come close to charging my phone fully even if I don't use it. I'm not technical enough to understand this but I'm confused to why a 5000 mAH battery doesn't fully charge my 3200 mAH phone? For example I've whacked it on a few times when my phone is at ~20% and at best it gets to 65-75% Don't get me wrong that's not bad but I think for the size of it, I feel 1 full charge is not unreasonable to expect. - The actual speed in which it charges the phone is pretty poor and that's while using the phone or just charging. Again this just feels like it further limits when to use this. To be fair the Apple MagSafe charger is the same if not worse charging speed but feel like it's worth noting that it's slow to charge and if this can be improved then it should. Plus at least with Apple's you can charge both your phone and the battery pack at the same time and also get a boost in charging speed. - I've touched on this a couple of times on the above points but feel like it needs it's own space to elaborate on. Using my phone while having this charger on further highlights it's limitations which may be just because I have the most powerful phone they state is compatible in terms of my phone's battery capacity and it's possible more power hungry hardware. To give an example I've used this when on long hikes and city breaks and if I let my phone's battery get to low while needing to still use it for navigation, texting and taking photos then putting this charger on doesn't fill me with the most confidence. The battery will get really warm and my phone would at worst stay in the same battery percentage range or just only charge ever so slightly. So yes you still get extended use of your phone by having this but for my needs this isn't enough. To wrap this up I'm giving it 3* with my specific use on a iPhone 14 Pro but I would strongly suspect this to be a lot better on older iPhones. I rarely take this out with me when I will be dependent on being able to charge my phone on the move even for a day or two. I still rely on a chunky 20000+ mAH battery pack. However I like to keep this in my work bag as a 'just in case' and find it useful to give a little bump to my battery while driving home or if I end up out and about longer than expected.

After getting stranded due to a dead phone on a night out I wanted a small battery pack I could keep in my pocket at all times. the ability to attach to my iphone and charge without having to cary cables is really helpful as is the built in kick stand for times when I want to have the phone stood up on a desk while charging. My only 2 gripes with the product are the inability to have the batery pack attached to the phone without it charging, this would allow be to keep it on the phone and only start charging when I choose. The other issue is that due to the size of the battery I'm not able to fully charge my iPhone 12 Pro Max from empty (it usually runs out at about 80%), this isn't a big problem as I'd bought it as a backup incase of emergencies and was aware of the limitations from other reviews This Anker battery lives up to up to the build quality of their other products (this is my 5-6th anaker battery pack. When I've shown my iphone-using friends they have been really impressed with the product and several have gone and bought there own, I've also disapointed some friends who have android phones and were gutted there wasn't an equivalent for their phone that was quite as straight forward to use.

Magnet is strong. Compact size. Can be used as a stand perfectly while in use. Automatically charges when attached. But it charges rather slowly. I use it to charge my iPhone 12 when I travel full day and need little extra power.

La miglior alternativa alla Apple Battery Pack. 5000 mAh sono sufficienti per ricaricare qualsiasi smartphone dotato di ricarica wireless (basta aggiungere un anello magsafe ed il gioco è fatto). Bello esteticamente (io l’ho preso bianco) e pratico da portare con se. La chicca secondo me è la linguetta posta sul retro che rende il powerbank un comodo stand per guardare i contenuti sia in verticale che in orizzontale. Preso durante il prime day (ma va spesso in sconto) è un ottimo accessorio da aver nel proprio EDC.

Ich habe diese Powerbank seit über 3 Jahren, momentan an einem iPhone 14 Pro. Sie lädt das iPhone zwar niemals ganz voll, muss sie auch nicht, sie Ist aber als kleiner Powerkick immer leicht und unauffällig dabei. Der Akku hält als kleine Notreserve seine Kapazität sehr lange aufrecht. Es stört kein Ladekabel, man kann das iPhone sehr gut weiterbenutzen. DIe magnetische Befestigung und der Standfuß funktionieren gut. Der Preis ist recht hoch, aber ich kaufe bei Powerbanks nur noch Anker-Qualität.

Après avoir utilisé la même batterie externe pendant près de 7 ans il était temps que je change pour quelque chose de plus pratique et plus portable. Ayant un iPhone 12 j’ai tout de suite cherché les batteries MagSafe et celle-ci est parfaite. Le coloris va avec la couleur du téléphone, on peut recharger deux fois son téléphone avec sans aucun souci et la batterie fait support aussi pour poser le téléphone.
