Platinum Plated Sterling Silver Ring 1 carat Stunning Round CZ Stone Halo Wedding Engagement Ring (Size 5 to 9)

I had a false start with this purchase. The ring arrived and was GORGEOUS, true to size (my actual engagement ring is size 5.25 with a thick band, so with thinner band, I ordered down to size 5), and practically glowed in the dark, it was so brilliant. But I noticed a small dark spot on the halo section of the ring. Upon closer look, one of the tiny diamonds in the halo was broken/partially chipped off, and the metal around the damage area appeared scratched, like there had been some impact. I contacted Amazon, whose customer service immediately refunded my money and sent me a return label. The ring was so beautiful I REORDERED another one.The 2nd one is perfect. It's convincing, not so giant and gawdy that people would assume it's fake or costume jewelry. The platinum plating seems secure, not like those cheap things where the metal looks plasticky and starts flaking off. I've worn this ring every day for the past few weeks since I've received it, and had no problems, the ring shows no sign of wear/tear, and I've worn this to amusement parks and clutched roller coaster bars wearing it. The diamonds on the band go so far down the band that even with my fingers spread wearing the ring, the diamonds appear to go all the way down to the palm. (But in a larger size ring, the diamonds probably won't go down the band as far, although this one's band diamonds go farther down and have more diamonds than on any other bands I've seen.) There's no photo of the profile of this ring, so I'll describe the center setting as simple, with a metal "V" connecting the sides of the halo down to the center of the band so that the bottom point of the "V" is right beneath the point of the diamond. The center stone's setting is pretty much hallow/empty beneath the diamond, so tons of light gets through, showing off the brilliance. Center stone appears to be about the equivalent of a carat in size. The metal of the band inside the platinum plating is silver, which isn't as heavy as gold, but still has some weight to it so it doesn't feel flimsy or fake to non-jewelry-experts. I also love the clean circle of the outside of the halo that the halo stones are set in, so edges are not "flowery" looking, but have more of an overall bezel-set look.The setting on the ring has a low profile, so it doesn't snag on things. I got this ring as a "substitute ring" for my actual wedding/engagement rings because I don't want to risk damaging and losing the real thing when I'm on vacation or doing active things like rowing a kayak, and my "real" engagment ring's center stone is raised so high I constantly bang it on stuff or snag it on my sweaters/knit scarves. Plus it's a great way to have an "updated" look on the ring finger without giving up or resetting my original engagement ring set.

I bought this ring based on the prior review. I luv my engagement ring, but its kinda heavy and super noticeable, so I just wanted something that was different and very modest. The center stone on this ring is 1ct, and with the halo it comes to a little more than 2ct. It didn't have much sparkle or fire to it, and that was a big deal for me. I've never seen a CZ that didn't practically glow in the dark! This one was kinda dull. The fit was perfect (size 6), the ring was light weight, and it absolutely looks real if that's what you're going for. I did match it up with a flat band that I have and it flushed perfectly because the stone sits up a bit higher than the picture. The picture makes the center stone look very large and brilliant, but that wasn't the case at all. They must've zoomed all the way in on this sucka! the side and halo stones are very small and dainty. Overall, it just wasn't for me, I needed something that sparkled!

My real ring is out for alteration (we are adding a halo around the center stone). It's going to look very similar to the style and size of this ring. It's going to take one month to complete the work so I bought this to hold me over since my ring finger was feeling lonely. It's beautiful and feels very durable. My wedding band fits perfectly up against it. I love it! Great size! Very believable. Fits true to size. I ordered 3 rings to try out and this is the one I'm keeping!

After some emotionally traumatic events this year... I actually bought a promise ring for myself, for various and personal reasons. I'm so very satisfied with what I got for the money.Actually smaller than I thought, but not in a bad way. My ring came undamaged, sparkly and a good size and fit for my finger. I'm closer to a 7.5 than a 7, but I'm still in the middle. It doesn't feel loose, and it's not tight. It's actually a perfect fit for me, so if I could guess, it runs a tad bit larger than standard size (like... Maybe a quarter or less of a size) but otherwise true to size. The band was a little thicker than I was comfortable with at first... But you get used to it. The center also sits up off the finger, but not a terrible amount. It's hard to see in the product picture. It was sparkly enough that I had a hard time taking a photo that actually clearly outlined the difference between the solitaire and the halo. They keep reflecting so much light that they blend in pictures.

I absolutely LOVE my ring!!! Its so shiny. I get compliments on it everywhere I go. I would rather have a cz ring and have it huge and shiny and a diamond and spend 5xs as much and be tiny. Its wonderful. Highly recommend this to anyone on a budget or would rather put that money towards the wedding than on a ring.

I love this ring! My right ring finger is normally a 5.5, but reviewers mentioned that the rings run a tad larger, so I took a chance on a 5 and scored! The ring has a pretty sparkle and is the perfect size for a small hand.

This product looks way better online than it does in person. It looks super fake and cheap. I was very disappointed. Already returned it.

I bought this ring as a backup/replacement for vacation and other times where wearing my real ring would mean an unreasonably high risk of damage or loss.Well, it arrived with two of the stones looking blackened and surrounded by rusty decay. I will be returning it!
