Amazon Brand – Pinzon Hypoallergenic Down Alternative Comforter - Full or Queen

I get very warm very easily when I sleep. I have to keep a fan on me all night, even in the winter. But I also need a blanket to add at least some weight or I can't sleep. This comforter fits the bill beautifully. If you're looking for something thick and puffy and heavy and super warm, this is not for you. But if you want something light to throw in a duvet cover, this is a great option. It's not super fluffy, but it's also not totally flat either. I think it strikes a good balance. Would buy again.

Love our comforter...Just one thing about it though, when I washed it recentley the alternative bunched up a bit. I put it back into the dryer with a pair of tennis shoes and it fluffed up the alternative. It's warm and comfy...we just love it. We live in California where our winters are cold but not like the Eastern winters so it's just enough for us. We turn down the heat at night and this comforter with a sheet seems to be more then enough. Our winter nights do somtimes go down to freezing. Wonderful product and we highly reccommend it. Very inexpensive compared to a down comforter which we also had but with animals it was costly to have the down cleaned.

We received the "sister" product of this--Pinzon Hypoallergenic Medium Warmth Down Alternative Comforter--last Christmas as a gift and loved it for the warmth, fluffiness and ventilation. Thinking it may become too warm for the spring and summer months, we ordered this year-round version and were so disappointed. It's thin which was probably to be expected but it seems to retain heat, makes us sweat and is much hotter than the "medium warmth" version. The only significant difference we notice in the descriptions is that this one has a polyester cover while the better ventilated one ("medium warmth") has a cotton cover. I would not buy this one again for sure, but the "medium warmth," definitely. With a lightweight cotton duvet cover you don't need a top sheet and that enhances the comfort level on warmer nights. We have two of the Pinzon Seersucker Duvet Covers and rotate them through the laundry with the rest of the bed linens.

I read the reviews before purchasing and I must say, pretty darn accurate. It says it's a year round comforter..well I'll have to wait the year to judge on that for sure. I am happy with my purchase though. It came sooner than I expected which was a pleasant surprise! Clean, no marks, and feels great! The price was not at all bad but if I could've paid cheaper I would have.. Now I am just waiting to buy my cute duvet cover and I'll be good. Definitely give this a shot.

I'm very happy with this. I've washed it once and it held up well. It is not super thick but it is plenty warm for the winter and should be good for warmer weather as well. I use a duvet cover over this so I am not concerned with the look of the fabric. The king size happens to be a perfect fit for my king size duvet cover from Ikea. It does have tabs in the corners to attach to a duvet cover.Update 12/8/17 - I am downgrading my review from five stars to two. I've only used this comforter for two winters and it is now so flat and thin that I had to purchase a new one for this winter to stay warm. The stuffing appears to have shifted to the edges of the comforter and the middle squares just seem basically empty and paper thin. It no longer feels warm enough as it did when it was new. I would have expected this to last longer.

I love this comforter. I bought this to replace a real down comforter that was leaking it's innards, so anything would have been a welcome change. But--this is such a wonderful comforter! I love it, and have been dreaming with it for a few weeks. It is so nice and soft, just the right weight, a good warm temperature for me, and good size. Did I mention I love it? I do, and it's likely you will too!

Says it's King but Check your measurements before ordering. It's is very short and definitely does not fit my regular King size duvet cover.Nice quality and very light but unable to use.

I LOVE this thing. It’s not as thick as previous down alt comforters I’ve owned, but it’s actually much warmer than my last, super thick comforter. I’m amazed at how warm it is, given its relative thinness.The most pleasant surprise is how ridiculously soft it is. It’s so soft I don’t even use my duvet cover over it.One word of caution, as mentioned by other reviewers, it runs a bit small. Based on other reviewers’ suggestions, I purchased a king for my queen bed, and I’m glad I did. The queen would have barely covered the mattress with no overhang.It laundered beautifully. I will definitely purchase again. 5+ stars.
