These are very nice card games
These are very nice card games, fun for the children and not too boring for the grandparents. I like the quality of the cards. They are durable and easily bendable for shuffling I don't know how to describe them other than printed on quality card stock. They do tend to crease after time but that is the trade off over the plastic type cards that are not easy to shuffle. I have purchased several decks of "Old Maid" from various vendors searching for the "perfect deck". These come closest to it, so far, as regards to quality of the cards and the graphics. All the games are fun to play and the included instructions are simple to follow. The item was described accurately, and was shipped promptly. I would definitely buy these again.

ThinkFun 4 Children's Card Games
This was a great Christmas gift for my almost-7 year old who is very much into games at this age and always wants to join in when the adults are playing card games. I was happy to introduce her to some more 'adult' style card games that are made more kid-friendly with these cute card sets and simple instructions. The cards are all very cute and retro-looking with little animals and characters. The instructions were very simple and easy to follow although we found Hearts to be the most complicated for her to understand and follow. Overall this is a great set for the price, and we're having lots of fun with them.

Classic games still work
One of several presents I got my 6 year-old for Christmas when she didn't have any definitive things on her wishlist and I bought a bunch of random stuff and saw what would stick. Well this was one of the most popular gifts for sure. She loves playing animal rummy, old maid, and crazy 8's. Even enough to get her off the iPad. Yes, you could play these games with regular cards but the customized, old-timey cards add that little extra something.

These cards are worth the investment!
I bought these cards for my 7 year old granddaughter but her 5 and 9 year old siblings love them too. The cards have bright and colorful pictures and are small enough for little hands. Card games encourage dialogue, taking turns and reinforce math skills. I love these cards so much that I bought another set for my first graders.

I was so excited to find these! My grandma had these when I was a kid and I always loved playing with them. atheybare so adorable! I ordered two of them and set a deck to 4 of my cousins to enjoy and reminisce as well! So, so, so glad I found them!

Almost exactly like an older set of card games from my grandmother!
We have a game set that looks exactly like this ... something that came from my grandmother. My kids and especially my grandkids have enjoyed playing with it, so when I found that these replica games were available, I got one for my grandson's birthday. My only complaint is that these new sets only contain 4 card games, where the older set had 5 games. And the missing game (Snap) is one of the kids' favorites. Still, this is a fun set of games that kids will enjoy, and I will probably be buying more of them.

Altered Decks, dull muted colors, kids prefer standard deck
the colors are so similar that the cards are hard to read. the pictures show bright contrasting colors but they are very muted and blend together making the different suits difficult to make out. Also they have modified all the games I assume to make them more "kid freindly" but besides old maid i don't see the value-the hearts game has cards for 1-11 and (since there are no face cards) the 9 of stars ( they changed all the suits too) is the "jinx" card in place of the queen of spades. This is just going to make it that much harder to teach them the real game, the same seems true for the rummy and crazy 8's game. I bought these on a whim and didn't read too much on them, i thought they'd be standard decks with just fun kid graphics. After playing the games my 6 year old asked if we could use the "real" cards. live and learn.
