Nice jugs
I've been using these mostly for secondary fermentation of mead and cider. There's not much that you could do in making a jug to make that better or worse, but these are definitely a good value for getting them delivered to your doorstep. The airlock stopper can be hard to keep stuck into the jug if you try and put it in while things are wet, but after drying both the jug's neck and the stopper it has worked well. They're nice and sturdy; compared to an empty Carlo Rossi jug, these are clearly much thicker and better quality. I've pasteurized fresh pressed apple juice in them by putting a full bottle in a stock pot filled with boiling water (if you do this, make sure you have a trivet or something to raise the bottle off the bottom of the pot). Was able to get the juice up to temperature and then cap it with the included non-airlock caps. The neck of these jugs is also wide enough to fit the oak cubes that North Mountain Supply sells, so you can age your ferments on oak quite easily.

Good quality, sturdy
Nice glass gallon size jars with screw in lids. My only drawback is the little handle is a bit smaller than I desire, but that's my personal choice. I use these for storing my home made distilled water. I also bought a long bottle brush for cleaning. I do like that they came with fermenting lids as well since I do make vinegars and like the choice of having the lids for future use.

Good carboys but bad rubber stoppers
The carboys and airlocks are good and work perfectly but I had to use old rubber stoppers because the ones supplied keep sliding out and unsealing the material is too slick to stay pushed in place. you may need to buy different stoppers that work better and stay sealed.

Racking Jugs
I purchased these for my husband, he recently got a wine making kit for his birthday and needed some additional racking jugs. These jugs are high quality and made of heavy glass not some of the thinner glass I have seen

Hefty Sturdy Carboys
I've ordered this brand before and have not been disappointed with their glass carboys. This was the first four pack I've ordered. They all arrived intact and everything else was included. I did order a separate multi pack of the larger 3-piece airlocks because they hold more liquid during primary fermentation which I feel is important when you have all the vigorous bubbling going on. For secondary I switch to the short ones because there isn't all the bubbling going on and bugs aren't so desperate trying to get in. The bungs fit and stay in place when you make sure the inside opening of the carboy is dry and the bung is dry. Making multiple batches of my favorite homemade wines was super quick and easy to do having these multiple carboys. They're nice thick sturdy glass, a great size and should be durable for ages. They're easier to clean with a long bottle brush that you can bend to shape to reach the inside curves of the carboys.

Excellent For my first brewing experience
I Got these to use up the ungodly amount of blueberries we had to go through and decided to make mead. They are thick glass and not particularly worried about them breaking. The Cork had problems staying in but you can use a rubber band to prevent this. One of the plastic airlocks snapped when I was sanitizing. All I did was rinse it. I could of complained but its only a couple bucks to replace so i didn't bother since the rest of the product was good.
