POWERTEC 71568 Aluminum Miter T-Track with Miter T-Bar, 32-Inch

This T track and bar were exactly as advertised, and work exceptionally well since I installed the track on my router table. I'd order from Powertec again but this time I would consider order the tack predrilled and countersunk for the screws to hold it in place. That proved to be a bit harder than I envisioned.

The Miter T-Bar fits the Incra Miter Channel that typically comes with their router table tops. There is about .003 inch play between the two laterally (the slightest of a wiggle). I intend to cut this bar into shorter segments, drill and tap for nylon thumb screws an then use for holding various jigs in place on the Miter Channel. If your intent is to use the bar for sliding cuts (as opposed to holding jigs in place) and you need better than .003 inch precision, a Miter Bar with zero-play adjustments is likely a better choice. To be clear, this product fits a Miter Channel and not a T-track (which is the leftmost, empty track in each photo).

I use it as guides for projector ceiling installation and fine tune of the projector distance from the screen. Works great as linear motion device after I added just a few screw holes. Quality of the product excided my expectations.m

Used this as a miter slot for my home made router table and the POWERTEC 71142 mitre gauge. I ended up drilling some holes and countersinking them in the bottom of the slot as I wasn't sure how to secure it in the slot in the wood. It drilled easy and works perfectly with the mitre gauge.
