product was advertised as a burn barrel for yard trash, etc. The cut outs in the burn barrel are way too big to safely burn leaves and there is no mesh. Leaves and burning debris escape through these cutouts. The barrel is probably only good for wood burning. Make sure it is far away from home and trees and dry grass.

LOVE IT BECAUSE IT'S PLENTY BIG. CAN'T UNDERSTAND WHY THEY PUT AN ELEPHANT, A WOLF, AND 2 PINE TREES. I THINK A BEAR WOULD BE MORE APPROPRIATE, RATHER THAN AN ELEPHANT. JUST MY THOUGHT THOUGH. CAN'T WAIT TO FIRE IT UP.

I use this barrel weekly, so it’s not something that’s difficult to use, but that said there are some areas ripe for improvement. First, the bottom has metal bars that criss cross to create an air gap. These are such soft and thin metal, they’re useless. I took them out with no ill effect. Second the cutouts in the sides are too big and allow burning material to fall outside the barrel along its base. Not a huge deal for me, I burn in a sandy wash, but watch out if you need the material contained. The edges of the cutouts are also very sharp. The screws that attach the handle lid are weak. I’ve replaced them. That said, this was relatively inexpensive if you can live with the issues.

I very much liked the cube but top didn’t come in with it

I can't set it up because they didn't supply enough nuts and bolts. It looks solid but now I have to drive 20 miles to a hardware store.

Concerned cutouts are too large to contain embers.

Item shipped quickly. Parts were missing. Assembly bolts and nuts as well as lid handle. Contacted the manufacturer, but was told missing parts would take 2 months to ship from China. Amazon made good with credit to purchase bolts locally but lid handle will have to wait for China. Would not recommend. Quality control in China is terribly lacking.Update: Customer service wants me to send an image of missing lid handle in order to replace. How can I send an image of something that was missing? How ridiculous is this? Chinese logic I guess.Update: Been waiting three months for missing part. Customer service has disappeared. Don’t believe I’ll ever receive it. Would never buy from these people again.
