Beck/Arnley 036-1524 Valve Cover Gasket Set

Fit my 2000 Honda CR-V perfectly. Zero leaks, great fitment. Good quality on initial inspection. Really good price all things considered and showed up fast.

Update May 7 2026, I got the gacket and there is nothing to say more, because I have been using this brand before and pretty good.sealant,and I just bought it as spare for future use. It lasted for 20 months, and I drive almost 40 mile a day, I am very satisfied with it and it could last more, but I had to remove the valve cover twice, once to check the timing belt is ok because of crank no start (but it was the new distributor), and once to adjust the valves, that what shorten the life of the spark plug tube rubber seal and start leaking inside the spark plug tube and.damage the spark plug in cylinder number two, The valve cover gasket is not reusable, if you remove the valve cover for any reason, you need to change the gasket sooner, or right away if you can, the same as the throttle gasket and others not reusable.

If you have a first gen crv DO NOT BUY A FELPRO GASKET it’s overpriced, stretchy, and cheap quality. This costs less and fit into my valve cover like OEM didn’t have to fight it at all (unlike the felpro) and also this one comes with new grommets which you’ll need.

Several people have told me to use OEM Honda products for my B18B1 engine. I decided to save some money and try Beck Arnley. I'm not disappointed at all. Fits fine, no problems installing. Use a little silicone at the corners and you're done. Rings / valve seals fit just fine, same with grommets. By the way, I'd like to rep Eric the Car Guy. You can find him on Youtube or his website. No leaks

I had an issue with oil leaking into the spark plug connections on my 1998 Honda CR-V. The shop was going too charge me $300+, so naturally I turned too my father who encouraged me to try and find this part online and give it a shot. The part arrived quickly, was good quality and relatively easy to install (even for a not car guy). Most of all, it worked! And was way cheaper than a 300 dollar repair. We made the repair some months ago now and have had no further issues. I would recommend this part to any that may have use for it.

This kit fits perfectly on my CRV. It was quite straight forward. I'll have to do the same job again soon as my cam seals are leaking. I figured it was coming from my oilpan gasket , but I was only partially right. I will definitely be buying another one of these when I do those seals. Make sure you use RTV in the required locations. It's just a few dabs, but apparently it makes all the difference .

Worked fantastic! Used this on my 1999 Honda CR-V. Stopped my annoying oil leak. Be sure to gently work the gasket into the valve cover groove, DO NOT STRETCH IT BECAUSE IT CAN CAUSE THE GASKET TO DEFORM. So take your time gently going around the seam, a little dab of permatex ultra black on the corners will add some extra assurance of stopping or preventing an oil leak.
