These are great. When you buy the VP Racing square or round 5 gallon jugs, they come with a big black screw on cap. In the middle of that black cap is a smaller, red, screw in cap. That cap is removable and this is where this filler hose screws into. You won't need anything else at all. Another important thing is the length of the hard, dark grey plastic filler neck. This is the part that actually goes into the gas tank. I have seen other filler hoses where this piece is very short: NOT GOOD FOR GAS TANKS, because it doesn't fit far enough into the gas tank. This filler hose has great length and works very well for all gas tanks that I have used it on: car, truck, ATV, boat, pressure washer and lawn mower.

Bought these to add to some fuel jugs for my dirt bikes and various gas engines. they work well. have noticed that some of the connections are wet after using, they don't visibly drip or leak but they are wet after use.

My original spout broke after a few years. It happens. This is the proper fit replacement sourced from the manufacturer.
