Great for c sections too
Got some of these from the hospital with my first and they were sooo helpful during c section recovery. It was nice to be able to pop one in the middle of the night instead of going to the freezer or asking someone to bring me ice. With my next c section I just decided to go ahead and buy a box and Iโm so glad I did. It feels a bit wasteful I guess but in this brief season, the convenience outweighs that.

Love these
These are great! They get so cold. Way better than Frida Mom in my opinion. Really helped with my postpartum recovery!

These are saving my life postpartum
Used these ice packs in the hospital after delivering my baby. Iโm so relieved I found them online. These ice packs are saving my life postpartum. Worth every penny for the relief.

Glad Some People Are Helped By This Product
I thought I posted my review, but I don't see it. Therefore, I am re-posting for the sake of the customers. I'm not sure how it got 5 stars for being effective, because I found these to not be helpful and I asked for a refund. They are bulky, but the worst part is that they're filled with a lot of air, and the cooling part is a tiny percentage of the size of this pad. If you lay down and put one under your head/neck (or your back), it is 100% ineffective because the small amount of coolant does not reach your head/neck or back. Picture a long balloon that has some crushed ice in it, and you want to put it under your head for pain relief. Where would the crushed ice be? What would make contact with your neck or head? This is what I'm hoping to get across. This pad got somewhat cold, but it lasted a very short time--maybe 3-4 minutes of cold. Then it was cool for another 3-5 minutes. I would like to use these when I lay down on my back. It's "ok" to place on your forehead, knee, arm, or chest, if you need coolness there. I see it being helpful for hot flashes or for children (where you don't want it to be too cold). To be effective with the cool side making skin contact, it must be "faced-down." The notion of there being adhesive on the reverse side, a very thin strip of adhesive, boggles the mind. Where does this adhesive go? I'm glad some people were helped by these. I bought a whole case, because of the good reviews outnumbering the bad ones. I also hope the manufacturer takes some good advice from the critical reviews. My aim isn't to hurt the sales. I do wish them well, and I hope others still get results. If you are considering buying these, try a small pack, not a case as I did. They need to take the puffiness out, use more coolant, and put two adhesive strips on the COLD side of the pad. This way, it'll hopefully remain where placed, if you move about. I put another one on the top of my head and wrapped an exercise, stretchy-band around my head to keep it on. If it was cold enough, it would've been a little helpful. If I see these again with a tag saying, "New and improved," I'd try them again.

Must have for postpartum!
I purchased the Medline cold packs after I used the Frida cold pads I was gifted. The Medline ones are 1000% better. Way colder and last longer!
