I’ve been teaching for about 15 years. This style of book is one of my favorites. The fact that you have both the letters AND placement on the staff is what makes this so valuable. It lets kids start playing songs pretty quickly, while still reinforcing the idea of where certain notes on the staff are.My students love using this style of book regularly.

If this is for kids to have fun to learn, it needs to have the melody and hook more prominent. This is more like a dumbed down version of the song which is okay for an adult but the kid wants to hear the hook. Also, when the hook is found in a song, they do a poor job of writing it. The notes written don't match the song very well. I would not buy again.

My son loved it! I searched and searched to find perfect piano learning book all I could find was nursery rhymes books and my 8 year wasn’t having it till I found this one that has so many songs my son loves!!! Great buy!! Received it perfect condition
