DEWALT 9-Inch Reciprocating Saw Blades, 14 TPI, 5-Pack (DWAR9114)

I have always bought the Farm and Fleet saw blades for the Dewalt Reciprocating Saw and have never been happy with the metal cutting blades. The wood blades were fine. The Dewalt 2x premium are much better.I tested one on some 1/4 angle iron and the blade went through quickly and was not dulled by the action. There might be better blades than these but I haven't used any at this point.

Good quality blades. So far havn't used them a whole lot but from the one blade out of the 5 that I have used so far these seem like they are going to last me awhile. The retail price on amazon was a good price but since I also purchased the dewalt DCS387B reciprocating saw along with these blades I got the $25 off the total price of dewalt products deal since the total for the dewalt items was over $100 and the deal was still going on at the time, so made it a really good deal. Either way they are worth the original price.

These are fine blades. I did figure out that they last longer and cut metal quicker if you wipe some heavy weight oil on them before use.

Needed to cut the tongue of my trailer off to install a new trailer swing away. Used my Sawzall to cut through the steel. These blades cut through it like butter. Genuinely impressed with the job they did. I bit more expensive, however when needed, these blades came through like a champ. They have my vote!

Heavier duty than the previous dewalt blades I had been buying.

It's hard to be impressed by a saw blade, but this does it. The 8" was long enough to go through the frame rails on an old Ford... the increased width of the blade relative to the standard sizes gave it incredible strength and structural integrity. Of course, such integrity (less likely to flex side to side) does mean that the saw will "kick" a lot more if the blade gets pinched or the tip runs into something while you're cutting... so always position yourself and the direction of your cut with that in mind! If you do run into something and bend the tip, merely hammer it back into shape on a solid surface and it is rarely worse for the wear. I probably did this a dozen times before the tip broke off. Ultimately, my 1st blade snapped where it mounts on the saw... it finished 80% of my project and there is still plenty of life left on my second blade that took care of the rest of the project...

Bought a 5 pack to cut through galvanized mild steel, after about 1 noncontinuous hour of use had to switch blades which I consider pretty durable for how much cutting it accomplished. also cuts wood at an ok rate. Very smooth cutting.

Generally good blade but don't stand up well to deck screws/thick nails. Don't bend easily, but I think Bosch has the edge overall.
