At first I was surprised when this 41 mm sq. head was recommended for the 40 mm sq. Dolica AX620 Ball head tripod receiver.Pros:1) The PVC is a soft enough material that you can sand it down with wood grade sand paper to meet the 40 mm sq. specification of the Dolica AX620 Ball head tripod QR plate receiver.2) When modified, this product is a good substitute for the original aluminum QR plates (no longer available).3) It available and it is cost efficient - you can obtain one for every device you intend to mount.4) You can drill holes in it and permanently mount it to any particular item - if you remove the central screw.Cons:1) This PVC version may be subject to wear. Luckily it's replaceable.2) This PVC version may not support the same weight as the original aluminum release plate, but then the Dolica AX620 Ball head tripod is a relatively lightweight product, not intended for ≥20 lb equipment.

There were two included in the package. I am using them as such: 1) as a stand for my Roland R-07 audio recorder, and 2) as an attachment on my Sandmarc Tripod to make it stand up in the car so that I can make voice recordings on my iPhone. I am a music maker, and it is my desire to use the iPhone and the Roland R-07 to make delightful music and to operate them in the vehicles, in the coffee shop, and in the house. The product was well-priced and cheap and good quality and easy to use. Thank you so much for such a versatile product!Hope you enjoy my music!

It’s really hard to match these if you already have one of these tripods, and you’re an idiot and you lose the original. Guilty is charged. Measure the one you have before you order more, if you can. If you don’t have your original, order multiple sizes

This is a somewhat lesser quality plate but not seriously so and a good value. It seems sturdy enough to last, and two were much cheaper than one is elsewhere. It easily fit my Vivitar and Samsung 1100 tripods. Excellent for the price.

I purchase a quick release for another tripod and it cost me $27.99 for only one. I got 2 for only $7.99 and they are just as good as the 27.99. I am extremely happy and satisfied.
