Is this model good for flat feet?

I have flat feet and this model adds some comfort and some support. It is light weight, so it is not a professional insert. They were recommended by my chiropractor.

Can these be worn for athletic activities such as running and playing tennis?

Absolutely, I wear them during trail runs up to 60km with no problems even when wet or muddy. For piece of mind you may want to apply double sided tape to stop them moving when put on or off. But they do not slip or move during heavy use. Additionally, these have just about cured my PF issues, I wear them at all times when wearing any shoes or trainers.

Interesting why does my heel of my foot hurt worse when inserting the soles? The insert doesn't reach anywhere near the toes. It's three inches short

Depending on the severity of your plantar fasciitis. It will cause your arch to be lifted into place. It can be tender until you get use to it. It will also help if you do a calf stretch for the plantar fascists. As far as the length it will be short because it is for the arch not an all over cushion.

how long before you should replace them? I wear them everyday

I wear mine everyday to. I replace mine when i buy new shoes which is about every six months.

Great for my plantar fasciitis

I suddenly developed plantar fasciitis in one foot after doing a bunch of walking and standing one day in unsupportive work shoes. Very very uncomfortable and I developed a noticeable limp. These insoles were recommended to me so I ordered them right away. I spend a lot of time at home so I put them in my house shoes (hard soled slippers really) and have been very pleased. It apparently can take a long time to heal plantar fasciitis but as long as I remember to wear my house shoes when I’m at home my feet are much more comfortable.
