High Quality
Attached it directly to my SM7B and it works like a charm, good boost, no added noise. The unit is very high quality and is surprisingly heavy for its size. Once it’s plugged in and the clip snaps down, it’s very snug and secure. I’m most happy with how it looks, seems like it was made to be paired with the SM7B.

Great budget alternative to a Cloudlifter
Works AMAZING! For the cost, you really can’t beat it. I use it with an Elgato Wave DX to get a little extra headroom. Would buy again in a heartbeat. Sounds great, great value!

Way cheaper than a cloud lifter and not as bulky. Did exactly what I needed for my Rode PodMic.
I needed to boost my Rode Podmic so that I didn't have to have it right on my face when talking. This little preamp/lifter worked perfectly. Its form factor makes it tidier in my setup too. I can't tell you if the signal is as clean as a cloudlifter, but for the work I do I have had no sound quality or noise issues. My interface is a Focusrite Scarlett, which just didn't quite boost this dynamic mic enough for me to be happy.Definitely happy with this preamp and regularly recommend it to my friends and anyone who needs a mic preamp.

Just as good as a Cloudlifter
I'm new to owning a dynamic mic and the one I have the ATR 2100x was way too quiet, maxing out the gain on my Scarlett raised the noise floor and made the recordings unusable. My mate came over with a Cloudlifter to troubleshoot the mic and turns out I needed a booster. I decided to give this one a try and it worked just as well, the build quality is solid and it's heavy for its size. I strongly recommend giving the Klark Teknik CT1 a try if you're picking up a dynamic mic.
