Just what I needed for my tankless hot water heater
I read several reviews about the tankless water heater that I bought on Amazon that told of the problems with piping it in. Many reviewers said that they had to use gobs of teflon tape to get the fittings water tight. The problem is that the fittings are a straight thread and not a tapered pipe thread like we use in the U.S.A. After doing a little research, I found this adapters. They work perfectly with one caveat. The seal rings actually seal the top of the fitting to a flange. On the water heater I bought, this flange was used to secure the water heater fitting to the case of the water heater making these bonded seals useless. I found that a common "O" ring used for a shower head solved the problem by placing it in the bottom of the fitting where it attaches to the water heater. The other end is a standard tapered thread that my piping attached to with no problem. These were a great problem solver for me.

Not Cheap, but worth the money
The Melnor water timer saga is finally come to an end.the problem was the fittings on the timer are the american GHT (Garden Hose Thread). After searching, and posting help requests I finally started looking into the thread differences, downloaded thread comparision charts and it became clear that you can not buy a adaptor with GHT to BSP threads in any plumbing store in OZ.I finally bit the bullet and ordered all required fittings from Amazon US. Good thing if you are a Prime Member.project completed and the dual timer will work as it should once my connectivity problem is solved (see Melnor Dual port timer review).Toni Sz

Quality Adaptor, Good Fitment.
I needed to adapt hydraulic hoses with British Standard Pipe threads to Nati’l Pipe Thread attachments on my tractor. These made the adaptation simple, and include the required seals for the BSP side of the adapator. No leaks...works great.... Solid Product.
