iTag is a tracking device that works by connecting to a smart phone via the free iTracing App.With the iTracing App you can find the lost items that are attached to eh itag or be alerted when they are out of range(up to 75 fee).If you lose your phone,you can also press a button on the iTag to ring your phone.Other features include a voice recorder,parking space tag and a cell phone camera remote shutter. iTag uses low energy Bluetooth 4.0 for connectivity and has a replaceable battery.

Haven't forgotten my key card since getting this:
Took a minute to figure out, but it does work. First load the app onto your phone. I used "isearching' but 'itracing' is the same. then locate your device and name it. from then on you can open the app and click on your device. Then squeeze the center of the triangle. It has a little button on the board inside. (I took it apart to figure out how to use it.) Anyway two beeps says it's on and it will say ALERT next to your items name. when you want to shut it off squeeze again, pressing the button to hear one beep. the app will say connect or something like that. If you look at the 'information page' on the app itself that will help a lot. Anyway I have a chipped card to enter work and for using my computer there. I kept leaving my card in the computer. My work area is a bit bigger that the 75' so it rings my phone sometimes (alarm more than ring)/*. I notice it will go off if I have my phone in my back pocket. that kinda sucks. but now I just turn it on at my last break and that seems good. if I step close to the exit, it alarms. perfect. It is pretty unpredictable on operation. thus 3 stars. But I may learn to like it more as I get used to it. I got two of these.
