Perfect match, easy installation, quite operation.
I check on the Radon system every once in a while, like every few months. The fluid in the basement Radon tube was at the even level; this means something if off and not working. In most cases, it means there is no power to the fan, or the fan is not working. Pre-tested the outlet to ensure there is the power to the fan. There was. And the fan was quite. Ordered a matching fan, exactly the same. Once the cord is unplugged, you do not need to go to the electrical panel. You do not need an electrician. It does not come with the power cord, but you can easily reuse the cord from the existing fan. Check the cord for no damages! Match wire colors to tie-in the old cord to the new fan wires (power, neutral, and ground), test the new fan before installing it in place. Put everything back in the place, plugged in the fan, and the fluid in the basement Radon tube was offset by the vacuum in the system. The entire job took an hour. In my case, all tools I needed were a 5-in-1 screwdriver as the screws used are universal (that's the 5th use of this awesome screwdriver that nowadays every household has), tester, and some electrical tape. You do not need to call a 'professional' to install this fan if you are just a bit handy with stuff around your home. Save and keep in your pocket like $500. Pictures posted for visual help.

Effective and quiet
For me it is strong enough to remove the Radon Gas and reduce the level from 7.9 to 2.0Also operates at a pretty low noise level.

Great replacement
Got this because our fan was so loud on our old one it went out. We replaced it ourselves, saving $350 doing that. It was very easy to install and ours is in the attic. It is very quiet.

Very easy to install. Took me 20 minutes
This was an exact replacement of the one I had that worked for 13 years.

Highly recommend!
This works great!!! Not very loud. We were a little leary of doing this ourselves, but after research we decided on this model. Came quickly, easy to install, quiet operation. Within 1 day our numbers went from 18 to under 4 within 2-3 days it was .97!!!! Yes, .97!!! Awesome!!UPDATE: Not even 3 years later fan has failed. Called company about the 5 yr limited warranty. We were told if it is installed by a "professional" it is warrantied for 5 years. If not, 1 year. 1 year!!! We are quite capable DIY'ers and don't know of any professionals in our area. Most people haven't even heard of checking for Radon....!!! Not very happy. Warranty seems like a convenient way to NOT have to warranty their product! Will be looking for another option of Radon removal!

Good kit, quick install, very effective.
This unit was really easy to install, despite having to trudge through the attic to get to the exiting vent pipe. We had a passive Radon system but the basement was reading between 9 and 12. So then we installed a fan down at the basement level - but it was not powerful enough to bring the Radon readings below 4 to 6 (depending on rain, etc.). So we decided to remove the small lower fan, reseal the pipe, and put this fan up in the attic near the vent's exit point. We're really happy with the results.A few weeks after installing the fan, the basement now is a consistent 2.2 -- a great improvement. Since we spend a lot of time in the basement, which is a walk-out style where we have home offices set up, getting that reading down was important. You can't hear the fan in the house, either. Save yourself the trouble: do this kit first.

Great product.
I installed this unit in a base cabinet over the sump. You can hear it running in the background but it's not loud. I chose to install it inside b/c I thought it'd last longer. It's made for outside exposure. I think the wife would have preferred it better if I had installed it outside. I've had it running for a couple years now and it really works. Took our radon from 8 to .5. It gives a lot of peace of mind especially with all this formaldehyde exposure from flooring. I have it somewhat sealed on the sump but no problem if it draws some inside air as well. Will put one in for my sister this summer.
