My son actually turned me on to it he was giving the pet one to his dog and I started giving it to my older dog and then one time when I ordered it I realized I ordered the people version which still could work for a dog and so I took some to try it out. I didn't notice some relief and being the fact is homeopathic gave me some peace of mind. I have used arnica gels which helped on Direct contact of the area so I was hopeful that this would work better, but it still took enough of the edge off where I could cut down on the amount of Tylenol or my prescription pain meds on a daily basis. So in effect, they work, but I was expecting more. Absorption is quick you place under your tongue and it dissolves. Taste kind of sweet like sugar

I have used Traumeel historically for many things, including inflammation and brusing that occurs during martial arts competition and training. Both the tablets and cream are extremely effective, particularly (in my experience) when dealing with nasty bruises and contusions. I've had an even more miraculous experience with this product recently, however, and it's what's driven me to review it. My 45# dog had a femoral head ostectomy surgery done. This is a pretty invasive surgery (at least by my definition!). She was put on NSAIDs by the vet, which seemed to help for the first two weeks (she was one hurting puppy if you missed a dose!), though she still moaned in her sleep. However, part way into the third week, she started having bad reactions to the NSAID (waking me up 15x/night to go to the bathroom, when she usually doesn't at all, diarrhea, drinking like a racehorse, incoordination). With a little research, I realized they were side effects from the NSAID, and stopped it. She started feeling better, but what could I do for the inflammation & joint pain? I'd seen a reference to someone using Traumeel for their dog after this surgery, so I ordered some up. I saw an OVERNIGHT difference in my dog's pain and discomfort. She's healing way faster than other dogs who I've seen have this surgery, and seems to have had minimal discomfort since I began giving it to her. Her pain and inflammation has decreased so much I have to watch out for her, and make sure she doesn't do silly things like leap off a 3' high porch, because she feels so good she isn't self-inhibiting as much as I feel she ought to. What a fantastic problem to have! I dosed her with 1 tablet in the AM, 2 in the PM (my thought process was less support during the day to keep her from overdoing it, and more support at night to help her sleep). She's happy and healing, I'm happy and not penniless (this is way less expensive than many available NSAIDs!) I'm not a vet, and won't recommend what you should/shouldn't do for your dog in his/her situation, but I will tell you this worked for me and mine!

I was recommended this by my sister in-law’s dog‘s breeder for pain in dogs. I’ve given it to my 15 year old dog as needed when he over exerts himself and limps on his front leg. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to help much for my dog. The last time he limped, I gave it to him and he was still limping the next morning so I just got a canine NSAID from his vet to give as needed instead.
