- YunQiDeer Drawing Pencils Art Supplies for Beginners & Adults

I just retired from a 48-year career (not counting the odd-jobs I held for 20 years prior), and I am hoping to rekindle my appreciation of being creative, artistically. I have not done any drawing since 1984, so I really hope I have not lost any of the talent I once had. With that said, I have not been able to use the YunQiDeer Drawing Pencils, which are well packaged in a durable, roll-up pouch, ready to use. at a moment's notice. Since they are packaged so well, I anticipate being able to carry them with me and pulling out a drawing pad (or napkin) whenever/wherever the urge strikes me. Easily packed into a purse, backpack. These are easy to grab and go - meeting any impromptu desire to catch whatever I want to capture during my travels. They appear to be durable, a great value for the money and offers all the necessary tools I need in a nice compact roll. I can highly recommend this, go out and get you some.

Nice kit was looking for portability, and this checks the box

I LOVE THIS! it's pretty, practical & efficient. Gorgeous leather case, with individual spots for each pencil & piece, with a flap at the top to pricy the pencil tips while they're not being used or traveling in a bag or case.. it's even for a few extra spots for you to add your own pencils or charcoas or whatever else you might want to have in your own fully fledge ready to carry along sketch kit. It wouldfit really into a medium Size purse, backpack, laptop case, gym bag, or glove compartment so you can literally just bring it along wherever you go.... you never know when the urge to sketch something might overtake you lol! And with this little beaut, you'll have no problem keeping your tools close at hand for just such occasions! The leather strap circles around it &snaps shut to itself, but not crazy tightly. Just securely enough to travel with it safely &not worry about anything faking or while ya do.... it's wonderful! Almost perfect..... My only small critique is that I wish it had included just a regular cheapo pencil sharpener in it (or had a space for one). The exactoknife method of pencil sharpening is a skill that takes time to master, and to do... so a plain old regular sharpener included in the kit would have been ideal. For newbies... or impatient veteran artists & sketchers like myself who don't have the patience to hand whittle dull/unsharpened pencils mid-project. I'm too impatient once I get going on something... gotta get it on paper before the magic of the image leaves and you can't finish capturing it in all its magnificence while you had it in your grasp.... the artists dilemma! Hah. So yeah, I'll take the $.25 Ted dinosaur shaped Kiddie sharpener over the fancy nice whittling any day. Otherwise, this item is perfect! I bought it for myself, but I'll be buying more this holiday to give as gifts to my other artist spirited loved ones.... it's exceptional. Truly! ❤️

Granddaughter is the artist and these she likes!

I recently purchased the YunQiDeer Drawing Pencils set, and I must say, it has been a delightful addition to my art supplies collection. This kit is not only suitable for kids but also perfect for adults who enjoy sketching and drawing. The variety of pencils included in this set is impressive. From the professional-grade sketching pencils to the art graphite and charcoal pencils, it covers a wide range of artistic needs. I found the pencils to be of good quality, with smooth and consistent lead that allows for precise and detailed drawing. As someone who appreciates versatility in art supplies, I was pleased to find that this set also includes accessories like erasers and a pencil extender. The erasers provided effectively remove unwanted marks without smudging the paper, ensuring clean and neat artwork. The pencil extender is a handy tool for prolonging the life of shorter pencils and allowing for better control during drawing sessions. One aspect that stood out to me was the packaging. The pencils are neatly organized in a sturdy and portable case, making it convenient to take them on the go. The case also helps keep the pencils organized and protected, preventing any damage or loss. The only reason I'm giving this set a 4-star rating instead of 5 is that I found the charcoal pencils to be a bit brittle. They tend to break more easily compared to the other pencils in the set. However, this can be mitigated by using a lighter touch while working with the charcoal pencils. Overall, the YunQiDeer Drawing Pencils set offers a great selection of pencils and accessories for both beginners and experienced artists. With its variety of pencil types and the inclusion of useful extras, it provides ample opportunities for creative expression. Despite the minor issue with the charcoal pencils, I highly recommend this set to anyone looking for a reliable and comprehensive sketching art pencil kit.

This was a gift for my husband. He wanted to start drawing so I gave them to him for a present. He really loved them. If he has any thoughts, I'll share later

My granddaughter loved it
