Bolt on replacement for the PowerPlus model
This unit replaced one we had in service for 14 years. Our electrician switched it out in under 2 hours. It performs better and quicker than the old model. We are very pleased with this purchase.

Fair price for USED/DEFECTIVE product
Tankless water heater arrived with missing Temperature Setting Knob, and was NOT fully operational as advertised by on Amazon!I installed this item as replacement for failed older model Bosch Tankless water heater with similar connection locations. Final visual checkout found heating module control cable disconnected. After startup water heated, but only to a tepid temperature. I then attempted to raise temperature setting from displayed 95 degrees, but the display did not change in response to turning the control stem. Contacted Bosch Service where the tech quickly walked me through a few trouble-shooting steps resulting in a replacement Circuit Board being sent to me as the unit was determined to be under warranty. Timothy, at Bosch, further advised as how to temporarily set the unit to supply hotter water by disconnecting a sensor wire. This is now sufficing until replacement PCB arrives. I must say, that Bosch's support service is superb, very friendly, and knowledgeable.

this is the best way to go for replaceing a water heater
People need to get with the program here in the states... this is the best way to go for replaceing a water heater. smaller space saving/ all the hot water you need / and no storage of water to start leaking after 6 years... I have installed many of these as long as 10 years ago and they are all working just fine.. Yeah to this product

We are in hot water again
I have to admit, the easy to install rating was a little cheating. I was replacing an earlier model from 10 years ago. I never flushed the unit or had a filter attached. This time I installed a tankless valve kit. This allows me to be able to flush the unit, without removing the hoses. I also installed a pre filter to keep scale to a minimum I hope. This unit should by all means last up to 20 years according to tankless water heater reports.Fingers crossed.

Bosch Tankless
Unit was ordered as direct replacement due to failed control panel on original 5-year old discontinued model unit. Unit shipped quickly, arrived quickly; expedited shipping due to failed unit-no hot water. On-line reviews were horrid. Unit requires both Plumber & Electrician so that can be a challenge. Was fairly quick change-out & connections were same as older failed model. Bosch on-line support leaves lots to be desired. (no manual on original; mixed model manual on current model & incomplete/inaccurate) Unit worked & minor improvements in design were better for user. Will see how long this on lasts?

Much better than the previous model
Bought this to replace my AE125. I was expecting the same performance but this easily exceeds the older model.
