Picked these mostly because they had the red knob seeing how I have a denim black street glide with red pinstripe. Also these came with a retaining ring to keep them with the bags when removed. A lot of your replacement knobs dont have that for twice the price. My bike had the recall done on the original pins done prior to me purchasing it last year. When removing the stock clips one came apart with very little pressure when I tried to remove it. So even if you had the recall done I would recommend purchasing this product. These replacements are extremely easy to install and make the bag a lot more sturdier then stock pins. Will definitely recommend and purchase again on my next bike!

Last year a rider in front of me lost his bag and I watched the contents spread out in front of me, as it bounced across the highway. I decided to upgrade right then. This kit is really easy to install with only a flat head screwdriver. My bags are very secure to my Roadglide now. The kit itself appears to be made of quality materials and I haven't had any issues with them since I installed them.

Easy to install, easy to use, feels much more safe and secure than the original locking pins (one of which bound up and became nearly impossible to remove at a really critical point on a recent trip)

I clean my bike alot so I remove and replace saddlebags have broke the oem clips. This system works but the plastic knobs look a little cheap but they do not loosen up and working well so far.

I read all the reviews. Most are happy and I suspect the ones complaining aren't strong enough to tighten the bolts enough and have the common sense to check them often. Remember, these knobs will never replace a locking ring or bolt with locktite. This is convenience item that is better than the OEM locks. I, who had no problem with the OEM locks due to the fact that I have bag liners that make my locks very tight, I will provide an update on longevity later. So far? So good!

These fasteners are much better than the stock Harley knobs. Low profile are the biggest advantage to these.

Going to give a 5 Star as the product was super easy to install and looks like it’s going to hold up great. Took less than 10 minutes to install both sides and the knobs are a nice low profile in the bags so they won’t interfer with putting stuff in them. Recommended for sure

Could have went to Lowe’s and probably built them but you can’t beat them
