Can you turn the heat off and just run the fan on this? or is the heat always on?

I only have the option to turn it off or on, there is no in between. But honestly I love it, it does not emit an overbearing amount of heat.

Does it work on 110 v and 220 v?

Can you dry gloves and hats with this? Want to an option to dry Thinsulate cotton lined gloves if they get damp, but don't want to melt them.

I bought this for my son's family of five children under 11. It has been a godsend for all things damp to soaked. Works very well for gloves!

Should I be able to feel the air coming out like a blowdryer?

It is not as strong as a hair dryer. .But should feel some air. It has worked well for me so far.
