Best Slicker Brush Ever! I have a basket full of dog grooming supplies. This Slicker is my favorite tool of all. Our dog easily gets mats as do a lot of doodles. This brush has angled bristles with rounded ends that make combing out the fur much easier and without uncomfortable pulling.

I’m a professional dog groomer and I’ve been using Chris Christiansen brushes for years ($80 brushes and I have multiple). This is definitely comparable, I bought this for my mom to use on her Pomeranian and I was shocked, it’s amazing for deshedding and detangling! I like that the bristles aren’t too soft so it gets down to the skin easily. I’ll be ordering the larger size for my work. If you’re considering this brush for ANY long hair breed, GET IT! The price is right for the quality (again, I’m comparing this to an $80 brush). Also for my doodle people that are seeing this, if your dog is big or gonna be big, save yourself the time and get the large one and stop complaining about prices please! You paid thousands for an extremely high maintenance mutt and complain about a $30 brush? It’s crazy to me and I hear it everyday. Anyways, GET THE BRUSH AND USE IT EVERYDAY!

Good slicker for a poodle. Easy to use, easy to clean, good value.

It works great we have a bichon mix and it keeps her from getting matted.

I have used several slicker brushes before purchasing this one. I thought they were all the same. But let me assure you -they are not all the same! This is the first and only brush that actually collected hair in the bristles. This brush also makes my doodle so much softer and fluffy than any other brush I have used. I let my groomer use it and she agreed that it was a great brush and that she would be ordering one as well. Excellent product!!

Needed a new slicker brush and I’m very happy with this one! Have only used it a few times so I can’t speak to how it’ll hold up but the brush feels like a solid unit and the long pins feel strong. Didn’t see a lot of reviews for double coated dogs but it works great on my Aussie and Collie! My Aussie has a wavy/coarse coat and my Collie has very long and a lot of fine hair. It was effective in getting hair off both dogs, even going through their long butt bloomers. I was worried about the hair being hard to get out of the brush since some slicker brushes it’s difficult but it’s actually pretty easy with the long pins! I use this brush second in my grooming step after I’ve detangled with a pin hairbrush, finishing with a metal comb.

The brush is okay. It works well for the top of the hair but does not reach the skin. Also very stiff I feel like it may hurt it if does. It is durable and good quality if you don’t need all the way to the skin brushed
