ScottsLiquid Gold Wood Cleaner (Packaging may vary)

The walls in my living room are old heart pine. I've always used Liquid gold to keep them from drying out - It has a wonderful scent and makes the wood shine. It's also great as furniture polish.

I'm no expert. I have a lot of natural wood in my house so I use this to keep it from drying out. (I live in the southwest). It will darken light wood a bit as I suspect any oil will. Since it is a spray, it's best to spray the application rag directly and then apply if the wood abuts other surfaces that could be discolored by the oil.

I use this on my kitchen cabinets which are over 30 years old. Liquid Gold keeps them looking brand new. I use it about once every three months.Hard to find so I just order on Amazon.

One star only because what I received was not as pictured. What's pictured is the can of Wood Cleaner and Preservative I know and love. What I received were six cans of something labeled Liquid Gold Wood Care Nourishes and Protects, with a "fresh almond scent" that just happens to be one of a few scents I absolutely cannot stand. Smells like Marzipan, which I also cannot stand. I have to send it back.

I threw out all my Pledge cans after using this.It not only cleans and shines but it nourishes the wood.

I order this thinking I was getting the wood cleaner and preservative as the label indicated but got six cans of cleans and dust not what was represented on the picture of the can.

We use a wood soap first and then this on our 60 yr old wood floors. Looks great!
