Glass Butter Keeper Crock -- French Butter Dish No More Hard Butter Perfect Spreadable Consistency, Transparent 1

I wanted a heavy clear glass butter bell like the ones I grew up with, but could only find sturdy crock-type or plastic versions new until I came across this one. This delicate glass piece has worked great so far. It would be perfect if it was a little heavier and had an inscribed waterline, otherwise I like it a lot!

Love this little thing. It keeps the butter fresh in a very stylish way. I specifically searched for an ALL glass French butter keeper so that I can keep track of how much butter there is at any given time. Also whether the water needs to be replaced or not. This butter keeper exceeded my expectations and everyone compliments it.

It meets my needs, but the glass is very thin.

The only complaints are that it has a weird lip at the top so it’s hard to get the last bits of butter out, and the glass is really thin. I think it could have a better structure and thicker glass, but I’ve been using it and it works. Just have to change the water once a week, and if I don’t go through the butter fast enough, it starts to taste like bleu cheese.

I love this butter dish. I like that I can see the amount of butter in the dish without having to look inside. And I love glass dishes. So this was perfect for my needs. Spreadable butter alll the time is something I never realized I needed on the daily

It came broke. And although it’s simple and pretty it’s not reliable to last if used on a daily basis.I’m sending it back

Look so nice and clean I do love soft butter and that is make my life so mach easy when I make my bread toast with butter and honey.

This broke in the first week.

Butter gets into the little bump-out that serves as the handle of the top piece and it's difficult to get to and dofficult to clean. Glass is also very thin.
