Our pet stores rarely carry this product. Both breeders and rescue groups need it so that really puzzles me, but Amazon to the rescue! This seller carries this canned puppy replacement milk. The babies snarf it down from the bottle no problem. It has literally been a lifesaver when mommy couldn't keep up with an unexpectedly large litter. It arrives fast, in good condition for a similar price that the pet store would charge, and we love that it's ready to use, no mixing.

Our outside dog had puppies, and the three that survived were brought in out of the mid-summer heat when they were just barely a week old. We started off with two cans of this from the store, and when I had found it here for 6 cans at a slightly cheaper price than if we were to buy 6 cans in the store, I grabbed it. The three pups took to it nicely, and now that they're several months old now, I can see that it helped them be nice and healthy. We heated the milk up in a bottle in a pot of warm water on the stove. I'm not sure if you're supposed to do this, but I figured if people do it for their babies, it should be okay for pups. Since I've not had any children, or puppies from that young of an age for that matter, I did the best I could in trying to feed them as properly as I could. I would suggest that people warm this up slowly and at a low temperature because I did notice that the pups took to warm milk much better than cooler milk, which makes sense to me since their mama's milk would most likely be warm. Overall, I'd recommend this to anyone who needs to feed young pups. I think it did well for our pups, and they're doing just wonderful now. They're now eating solid food and barking and arguing with each other multiple times a day.

Our female dog got hit by a car when her litter was 2 weeks old. We bottle fed all 12 puppies from 2-4 weeks old (6 times a day) and all puppies were healthy at their 6 week check-up. It was such a difficult time, 1st losing our dog in a tragic way, then having to feed the puppies and teach them to bottle feed. They took to in quickly and were gaining weight right away. It was also convenient that this was in liquid form and no mixing.

Our pups had other formula and did not like it at all so I done some research and found this formula so decided to try it out and let me tell you they love it and are so healthy! We are buying more , too bad it don’t come in 24 case don’t matter thow same thing with 2 12s thank you for this formula love it
