I can't believe nobody has reviewed this stuff yet. Pound for pound best $ value for septic powder.
Bought a new house (new to us). Septic passed inspection. About 8 months later, problems started creeping up. Several septic guys said system needs sucked out every year. One even said to replace it... just $20k, no biggie. Yeah right... no thanks. I did none of that. Didn't even have it sucked out once. Instead I did some research and ended up doing two things. #1: I got a fish pond aerator air pump, some hose, some splitter valves and 4 big air stones and switched our septic tank over from anaerobic to aerobic. #2 (no pun intended) I researched the heck out of septic powders. Guy I bought the house from had been using RidX, and left a few boxes behind. I used that till it ran out. But as I started having more probs so I switched to Green Pig, etc, etc. - all of them range from junk to just barely ok. None really did the job. Then I found this Patriot stuff in bulk which is light years better than anything up to that point. I have done all the math, and I'm sticking with the Patriot stuff. Just bought a new bucket of it. Price hasn't even gone up at all in the past several years. That's unreal for 2022. Anyway... the best thing is that 8+ years down the road my same old septic system works just fine. I've never had to have it pumped, not even once. Plus, the thing NEVER stinks... not even that occasional slight waft of yuck.
