Nature's Specialties Plum Silky Dog Shampoo Conditioner

I had no clue a shampoo could make such a big difference on dogs hair! I was skeptical of the price at first - but I would literally pay double the price after seeing how amazing it works! When I diluted the shampoo - I thought, there is absolutely NO WAY POSSIBLE will even suds up, no less clean my dog. IT DOES!!! 24:1!!!! I am still in shock. So that actually makes this shampoo CHEAPER than the junk you can buy at Walmart! It is VERY THING when youre putting it on your dog, and hard to keep from losing alot of it. But it's diluted enough that it literally makes no difference when you lose that little bit! My cockapoo has always had such a horrible smell. I was losing my mind trying to find something that made her smell good. Even after a bath she would just smell like a wet dirty dog. After WEEKS of searching soooo many different shampoos - I decided to try this one. For starters I was extremely skeptical when I diluted it. But OMGGGGGG. I am NOT EXAGGERATING at all. My poor stinky girl smelled sooooo good!!!!! Even better than when she comes home from the groomer! Even after being groomed, with in 2 days - she stunk AGAIN. This shampoo makes her smell soooo fresh and clean for WEEKS! There are not even words to explain the difference of her smell with and with out this!! Especially for it to keep her smelling so clean for so long! I was having to bathe her ATLEAST every 2-3 days (I know VERY unhealthy) but I had no choice. Since I started using this, she can literally THREE WEEKS before being bathed again. That may not sound like much, but for me - it's literally a game changer!!! Her hair is so much more manageable. It is soooo soft, fluffy, smooth and doesn't even mat up! Anyone with a cockapoo - knows that's incredible! I do have to add that I am NOT a professional groomer. So there may very well be better shampoos out there. But I cant imagine it's even possible for one to work better than this! I have tried more dog shampoos over the years than id like to say. None came close to comparing to this!

OK, if you ever use this shampoo on your dogs, you will never use anything else. I got my first bottle from a friend of mine whose dog passed away and I have been using this ever since. I purchased this bottle here for a friend of mine that just adopted a new dog. Yes, it seems pricey however it doesn't take much so the bottle size lasts awhile. It lathers well and conditions the skin and hair. I have a Havanese so her hair gets long and its also curly. So it makes her hair easy to comb through when drying her. No tangles!!! yayyyy. The biggest thing I love about this shampoo IS ITS SMELL. OMG, SHE SMELLS SO GOOD FOR DAYS AFTER. This has been the only doggie shampoo I have used for a while now. I use to try all different kinds till I was given this. The seal was taped before putting in a box so it came to me perfectly. I did worry about it leaking but it was all good. Go ahead, splurge, I promise you will love it esp after your fur baby dries. I just want to eat my fur baby up she smells so good. Just remember, it doesn't take much so don't over use it.

THIS. SMELLS. GREAT!! I would for SURE use this as my own personal shampoo lol it honestly reminds me of a fancy salon shampoo smell lol. If I had to try to describe it I would say it smells like a sweet, floral, not qute berry- but berry adjacent ( I feel like berry is to cheap too describe it) type of smell. Very good. Best comparison I can give to shampoo I have actually smelled from places like walmart or dillons is probably biolage hydrasource shampoo, but honestly I feel like this smells better and more expensive than that lol. It doesn't lather like crazy, which I don't know if that is a good thing or bad thing for dog shampoo, but that is just a thing I noticed, from how much we used I would have expected more suds if it was a shampoo for people. Anyway, pup came out clean and it doesn't seem to aggravate her skin which is good ^_^ ( she is a goldendoodle)

I was recommended to buy this, i’m a dog groomer and I i’ve been trying new soaps that work best for any coat. I really like the Plum Silky kind. the smell is nice, it’s fruity but not too sweet, almost has an expensive smell. i’m not sure how to really describe the smell but it keeps the dog smelling fresh and good. I am a big fan of the lather, i typically dilute it 1part soap:5parts water so it will stretch and even when diluting the lather is fantastic. It makes the fur incredibly soft after 1 wash, i’d even say you may not NEED to use a conditioner when using this! (I still do tho) It really takes any funky smell off the pup. highly recommend!

An eccentric neighbor of mine, who used to work at a pet salon, recommended this brand to me - according to him, it's a fairly trusted brand that many pet grooming businesses use. And while I wouldn't call him the most reliable source, I can at least thank him for this recommendation. This is great stuff, and because it's a concentrate, I'm quite happy with the value as well. This small bottle goes a very long way, I've barely made a dent in it after several at-home washes of my 50lb double layer coated dog. You mix it with water, which creates a bubbly lather that's easy to massage into the fur - and maybe this is confirmation bias, but my dog seems less irritated when we use this stuff on her versus standard shampoos. She certainly whines less! As for the smell, my goodness! I think my neighbor might be right about this being an industry standard, because this is the only pet cleaning product I've used that makes my dog smell as good as she smells after coming home from the groomer. A very fruity, pleasantly mild scent that lasts for a surprisingly long time. It smells better than some human shampoos, seriously! It makes my dog smell great and gives her fur a nice clean sheen as well. Extremely impressed with this stuff, very rarely do I feel loyal to specific products but I don't think I'll ever buy any other dog shampoo again, this is by far the best one I've used.

I'm really into grooming my own dog, I've been using Chi shampoo for for him, but decided to try this too. Made my aussie shepherd very soft just like the Chi shampoo. However I wasn't a fan of the smell. Don't expect any bath and body works. The smell also fades away completely pretty quickly (after half a day), whereas the Chi dog shampoo smell lasts for about a week. But do keep in mind that smell is highly subjective and varies by individual preference (some people hate Chi dog shampoo smell saying it's too strong and smells like cheap cologne which I completely understand). As for cleaning the dog and making the fur soft, it does a fine job like a professional dog grooming product would.

Finally a shampoo that works on my Pomeranian who had matted and dry wire-like texture. Now he’s soft and easy to brush. It smells so good. It’s a good size bottle and I used undiluted the first time but apparently a little bit goes a long way!

Rarely post reviews but this shampoo, unbelievable!!! Left my Goldendoodle smelling sooo good and sooo soft!! I used it without the conditioner and honestly don’t need the conditioner. Amazing and will be ordering more when out for sure!!!

The stuff when diluted is super runny but does lather. I am not convinced it is “better” than anything else out there but with how much you get and the fact it is concentrated makes it a phenomenal deal.

This might be the best dog shampoo. It really gets the grime out and makes my dog's feet white again. The scent is a little over powering. So based on that I wouldn't repurchase

Lovely smelling shampoo leaves a soft clean coat after use. Mixes well so get a bit of value out of the bottle. Great for a busy salon environment
