I was bought one of these last Christmas by my son it work very well and cheap to run but my grandson use it as he was not well and was home from school and spilt his drink on it and it stop working so I have bought another one to replace it and this one feels a lot thicker so I hope this on last longer then 4 month , when working they are really wonderful and this one is green and as I said a lot thicker then the plush one Ii had fist I could feel the wires this one is three times as thick and works excellently keeps me warm while sitting watch television or reading a book, turn it self off when reach temperature and slow cools down if you start to feel cooler turn it back on very low cost to run.

This electric throw/blanket worked extremely well when it was working. The three heating settings were clearly well differentiated, allowing for different warmth levels. The blanket itself was fluffy and of a good size. Because it is an electric blanket and therefore imperative that if it is washed that it is absolutely dry before re-use we only washed this once in the time we had it, ensuring it had a couple of days before being re-used. It did wash up, dry out, and lend itself to re-use perfectly well. However, it is now, after just over a year of use that the blanket/throw has stopped working. The previous heated throw we had was from Lidl for £30 and worked for 4 years. This by comparison and price is nowhere near as successful.
