Bought this because not only does it give angles out to 2 digits to the right of the decimal point, it also is a level. Great little tool. Sorry, but my Wixey angle gauges are going to need a new home. Great price and value. If lost or run over by my truck, I will by another one. The level function worked great for leveling my audio turntable. Albums sound so much cleaner. Well designed and very easy to us if you loose instructions

This is really a great tool, appears to be very precise, easy to use, the magnet is fairly strong. It comes with a nice instruction manual in several languages, I think the English section was about 17 pages, well written and covers all the use cases. Note you may need your reading glasses, it's pretty small print. That being said, it's very intuitive and easy to use without having read the manual. I have used similar, though not as good, manual and digital devices in the past. I commonly use them for setting up telescopes and around the shop for getting blades perpendicular to the surface of saws. The precision and capabilities of this tool really blows away anything I have used before. I would highly recommend this, even if it is slightly more expensive than some of its competitors, you won't be sorry.

It does a good job of measuring angles in the X and Y plane, including user-set reference level to measure angles from but there are a few quirks some are good when you think about it. The simulated bubble level is never centered unless you have exactly zero degrees offset so unlike a liquid bubble level you don't see it trend toward level on the bubble, only on the angle readings. That may sound bad but it's probably an advantage, the bubble really always shows the direction off from level, even down to the minimum resolution of a hundredth of a degree, though the accuracy is documented as 0.1 degreed or 0.2 degree depending on the use case. So, you can always see which axis needs to be raised/lowered on the thing being measured but below the accuracy the order of magnitude lower resolution is probably not useful. The AA battery installation requires a screwdriver to release four screws for access, the screwdriver is provided but it's only a matter of time using and replacing batteries before the driver heads on the screws are rounded and releasing/securing the battery compartment is compromised. If you wish it was a 3-D level and included the Z-axis, for most surfaces then a recent cellphone will probably have a built-in magnetometer that reads the equivalent of the Z-axis, though most access to it is via compass apps and you have to do your own subtraction of headings to get the angle between them. Since this angle meter has a magnetic base, keep it away from a phone while measuring a Z-axis angle using a compass app. It's not a failure, but the hundredth of a degree resolution can be annoying when looking to make things level to satisfy a user, no flat surface I placed it on is exactly level on the meter but for normal human use the surfaces are level. It might be a nice upgrade for a future version to have a control to adjust the angle resolution, given the accuracy then being able to switch to whole, half or quarter degree resolution display would be a useful upgrade for realistic levelling of home surfaces. It's possible to set any measurement as a reference and then compare other surfaces relative to that reference (adding or subtracting angles). A feature described as two user calibration appears to be usable to have two identities for "level" at different parts of a job and use one without losing the other, though the reference is quicker and easier to set when comparing angles. A handy little tool when measuring tilt angles of any horizontal surface in one or two dimensions and the V-grooves on the top and bottom allow measurement of the tilt angle for items such as pipes.

2-plane level with 0.01 degrees resolution. It has 2 decimal places on angle displayed at 0.01 degree increments, not 0.05 increments like most others - very hard to find. There are some 0.001 resolution versions, but they cost $300 to $500+, so for less than $50, this is really a nice 2nd device to have. Works great and makes repeatable measurements. I have used this to check miter cuts and and repeatably verifiy down to about 0.02 degrees when making tool adjustments.

it is repeatable, handy because it reads on its side and edge and seem accurate compared to 160 US camber bubble levels. while it may display more digital detail than it is 'accurate' for, it is nice to see the same level of detail repeat itself.

Easy to read and bright display, and accurate measurements, but lags really badly. It takes what feels like forever to update the readings after making an adjustment. I don't need an hour added to my workday to make sure my deck framing is level. Returned.

This is a review both for the product and support. I work in medical device manufacturing and use this level for simple things such as installing shelving and leveling desks. The ag03 did a great job at both of these things, although the processor and screen refresh rate could be a little bit faster. In some cases, the reduced processing power can also lower battery usage, and the two AA batteries have not run out of juice yet. Fair for how much they are charging and gets the job done. Pretty close to the end of the warranty period my LCD screen stopped working. There wasn't any physical damage and I was watching the device while it lost the picture on the LCD screen (it still powers on and off, but does not display an image). I've seen this happen with some of the device LCD screens I work with. I contacted Huepar and not only did they promptly respond in decent English, but they also stood behind their product and replaced it for me with no hassle. It was a very Costco like experience. I think it's always worth noting when a foreign company stands behind their product since I've also had many negative ones. Four out of five for the device and five out of five for the customer service. Going to round it up since I am so impressed.

Works great. Easy to use, my only complaint is it doesn't hold the most extreme angle, which isn't thaf big of a deal. Magnet on bottom is nice. Battery life seems to be good so far. Well worth it for the process point.
