Very well-balanced hammer and a cost-effective solution. I don't have that many DIY projects so I didn't need something that was going to outlive me, but the grip is very comfortable and the claw grips nails easily. It swings easily and appears to be well-made overall. I will update in a few months after using it for another few projects!

For this price point this is a very good hammer. It swings very well for a $12 hammer. Not that I care about the color, but it is a well made and good looking hammer if such a thing can be said about a hammer. The size is fairly standard so it’s not too light or too heavy. I would highly recommend this over some cheaper big box store, hammers or other mail order hammers on the market. It seems to be very durable and will last for years as well taken care of. I noticed in some of the other reviews there were complaints about the clearcoat coming off. That’s not meant to be a permanent part of the hammer. It will wear off and the hammer will patina if well taken care of. If you don’t take care of it, it will rust. That’s your fault. It’s not the manufacturer‘s fault or the suppliers fault.

Good balance, good quality. Not a framer, just a quality small duty tool.

Someone stole my hammer after 40 years! Oh I am so mad. I think my husband took my hammer and misplaced it like he always does! He never keeps his stuff in order! Anyway, I keep my own little tool box and have since I was a young single mom for years until I meet him.. haha. I had to replace my hammer. I love this because it was made in the USA. Finally a product on AMAZON that was made in USA. I loved the durability, the size, the length etc. I don't worry so much about the storage capacity but this time I hid it! It is a bit heavy for me but then I am a senior citizen. If I still had all that strength I had when I was young it would have been NO problem. I don't use it often enough to worry about it... I just wanted to replace it and this was a very nice replacement for the price!

Good for jobs around the house. Just the right size for home projects and crafts. Straight claw is great for opening paint cans. I would recommend a bigger 20 ounce for framing and building a deck as this 16 ounce was a little light for big nails.

Good hammer! I like Irwin tools and favor them whenever possible.

I needed an inexpensive hammer that exceeded the low quality of $5 wooden hammers. This one fit the bill. The rubber on the handle makes is comfortable to use and it looks like it can take a beating. It's not a premium hammer, but it's a good value.

I’ve been using this hammer for house renovations and everyday jobs around the home, and I’m extremely happy with it. It’s lightweight compared with other hammers I’ve owned, but it still drives and removes nails extremely well.The hammer feels very well balanced, and the grip is strong and comfortable. I’ve even used it while working in extreme heat, and the handle remained secure despite sweaty hands. It’s easy to control and doesn’t feel tiring during longer jobs.For a lightweight general-purpose hammer, it works exceptionally well. Five stars.

Bom martelo de uso geral. Cabo de fibra. Pelo uso ainda não é possível fazer uma avaliação da durabilidade do mesmo mas tudo indica ser um produto durável compatível com o preço. Martelos com cabo e cabeça integrados totalmente de metal (Estwing, DeWalt) certamente são melhores mas bem mais caros.

Bought bc I wanted straight claws as they are better for general demolition etc.V.happy with this hammer overall.
