on a WD black SSD, brought down the ASIC controller temperature by 15 deg C. even came with extra screws and a screwdriver, would buy this again if i get another SSD that ran hot

Saves my ps5 ssd from crashing
I bought this M.2 2280 SSD heatsink after my PS5โs 2TB NVMe SSD kept crashing. Turns out, it was overheating without a heatsink. This cooler fixed the issue completely! Installation was a breezeโtook me about 5 minutes and the heatsink fits perfectly in the ps5 space

Thick metal, high quality
I got a great deal on this case and it turned out to be better quality than I expected. The metal is thick and it absolutely does transfer heat away from the drive very effectively. I will buy again next time!

Really efficient passive cooling
I'm really actually quite pleased with this - more than I thought I would be. Like a lot of mobos, my B760 has the CPU m.2 slot *right* in the exhaust path for both the GPU fans and the CPU fan, and that drive was getting TOASTY (like, habitually hitting 80ยฐC while gaming). Threw this heatsink on and now it's capping out at about 65ยฐ at max load, so really solid drop for just passive cooling. The chipset m.2 is in a less purgatorial spot but I figured I'd throw one on that one two, so they match, and the drop is less profound but still worthwhile (from about 60ยฐ under load to the low 50s). They're pretty tight to the card in terms of width, so unless your SSD is reaaaally tight, this should work well. There was some sloppiness to the finish - had to buff down a few rough edges, and some scratches to the paint job - that account for the lost star, but I'd still recommend this heatsink to anyone.

Great product
Works perfectly in my PS5 and was easy to install. Noticed my PS5 started running slow using m.2 card. Now notice after installing this that m.2 card is cooler and everything running faster.

Easy and perfect fit
I bought a SSD at Walmart for a good price but it didnโt have a heat sink! I ordered and it was delivered fast. It fit perfectly and I installed it into my console.
