Le Toy VanDino's Garage Playset (TV450)

GRAND!!!!! REALLY!!!!! GRAND!!!!! Gave this as a Christmas surprise to my 1 year old car enthusiast son; topped it with a big red bow and paired it with one of the nice Ikea road play rugs. I am very pleased with the structure and the brightly attractive color scheme. I've also purchased 2 packs of the Le Toy Van cars sets (London and Monte Carlo). My son has played with this everyday since Christmas (2 weeks ago). I've also purchased a car themed lunch bag for him to tote around his 20 car Le Toy Van collection, which he brings all around the house with him; to nap time and to bed time. And the first word he says every morning is car; and he persistently invites everyone he knows to play cars with him. Although some minor touch ups and minor repairs were made (cracks I sealed with clear nail polish and the helicopter had to be hot glued together again). However, I am plenty pleased with the price I paid for this lovely garage.

I had a hard time finding a simple, study car garage like the ones my brothers had when I was little for my three year old. He loves matchbox cars but the adventure sets are kinda cheesy and frustrating for him and the quality isn't there. This works perfectly with his little cars. This has an easy to operate elevator, a gas station and ramps to three levels. It is well made and is study wood contruction. It is relatively inexpensive compared to other flimsy wood version. It will require construction and the directions do suck. I figured it out and had it together in 45 minutes. You will need a hammer for the railings, a small screwdriver and a drill. Just a note since the directions don't tell you, the small screws are for the ramps, the medium screws are for the front panel garage openings and top sign and the big screws go into the roof, floor, elevator and coloums. The one to buy in this price point!

This was the 3rd birthday gift and was received with a loud squeal of happiness. All I can say is hours and hours of creative playtime and it has held up to some pretty tough play. I have found him standing on it to reach light switch and reaching for stuff in his closet. Our little one is a big boy and it has withstood a lot and still looks almost as good as the day we gave it to him. Almost, is due to the coloring job he did on the upper parking area. If your boy loves cars and trucks then this is a great gift. It is also well made and a good looking piece, nice wood and pretty painted colors. Nothing cheap and plastic about this toy garage. Love it!!!

Such a great toy. It was very easy to put together, directions simple and easy to understand. And the garage itself is adorable. So well made. No stickers to apply then eventually peel off. Ramps are the only plastic parts. Wood is thick and not at all flimsy. Everything is painted on. My son loves it. Definitely get additional vehicles as this one only comes with 1 car and 1 helicopter. But you could use matchbox cars as well.

This is an excellent quality product. After reading dozens of reviews we chose this you for our 2.5 and 1 year old sons for Christmas. It was time-consuming to set up but it’s worth it bc it’s not going to fall apart- this is a SOLID toy! The only part we took off bc our babes are younger is the signs indicating the levels. They spin around and became chew toys. We will add them on later when they’re older.

Our grandson loves this garage. He got it for Christmas and enjoys parking cars in the all the marked spaces...there are even handicapped spaces. This was a mini lesson in what that meant. The helicopter is an added bonus. He will pretend that cars are getting fixed below and then go up in the elevator. He likes to make a line of cars backed up on the ramps. allows for lots of imagination!

This is a fun set, but it arrived a little scuffed up (reason for 4 stars). For those who are less than handy, you might find it takes closer to 90 minutes to put it all together.

Awesome. Got this for my little boy for Christmas. He loves it! The only thing upsetting is the signs that you put in the garage are easily pulled out by my son. He chipped part of the wood doing this. So I would advise just not putting the push-in signs on until your child is bigger (mine is two).

Looks very good when assembled but did take about an hour's careful work.However after 3 weeks a number of problems have arisen1 Yellow plastic edge loose on 2nd floor because timber edge is broken where screw holes are bored2 Petrol price sign cracked where plastic peg inserted3 Car lift doesn't work properly4 2nd floor exit sign is cracked and fixing point on floor brokenThe material used appears to be mdf and fixing screws into the edge of this is always going to lead to problems. Similarly the plastic pegs on the petrol and exit signs have been inserted into holes which left little surrounding material to support themPotentially this is a really good "play with" toy which has been let down by poor choice of material and some of the fixing methods.Having read other reviews which go back a number of years it is really disappointing that a manufacturer doesn't take note and make the necessary changes in the design and choice of material

For the money charged this should come ready assembled. The quality of it is terrible, took over 2hrs to assemble due to the utterly shoddiness of the whole thing. The screen lines don’t line up whatsoever, the wood cracks when you screw the pieces together also. Terrible product and certainly will not be buying any other items for Le Toy.

I took a while to choose which garage I would get my 3 and a half year old son for his Christmas present and this did not disappoint. I read lots of other great reviews and I completely agree. My son loves it and plays with it for hours (his younger sister also loves it). It was easy to assemble and is very sturdy (both my children are keen climbers(!!) and I often find them standing on it to reach the higher shelves). A great purchase and worth the price tag.

Granddaughter loves it. The signs just push into the MDF base and have quickly worn the hole larger so now wobble about but apart from that no issues

The red plastic ramps are screwed to the base with very short screws into flimsy MDF and the base could not hold the screws so popped out, ripping the MDF. I received a replacement which not only did the same thing but also some of the screws did not match up with the holes & I had to drill replacement holes, also some parts missing but luckily still had old one and so mixed & matched but still have a broken product with no ramps!Received a full refund but would certainly not recommend.
