Nice wood but came as scales not block
Yeah nice product just not what I ordered. I needed a block for a commission. Not scales. This is pretty bad practice and will be asking for a block sending after I write this review.

Awesome grain
Nice blank, awesome pattern. A couple small pockets, but great otherwise. Cut easily with carbide table saw.

Not burl. Some wavy pattern, but zero figure in block. Avoid this.

Says it’s one solid piece but was sent as two, cut down the middle. Needed the solid piece I was led to believe was being sold to me. Woods pretty and hefty. But still wasn’t what I paid for. Update: Seller reached out to me and updated the listing to reflect the product better for future customers as well as offered a refund. Still a fine bit of wood.

No Burl in the grain.
The picture and description shows and describes a quality piece of Burl Ironwood. You can clearly see in my photo, there is no Burl. It’s straight grain all the way through the piece. I’m very unhappy. I’m only going to keep it because I’ve already sent one piece back, because it was also straight grain and had a crack running all most the full length of the piece. Update: decided to send product back and get refund. If customers continue to accept this falsely described and advertised product, the company will continue this practice. I think Amazon should band this seller.
